What To Do in Las Vegas This Weekend (April 1 – 3)

Support local artists at First Friday, let your kids explore fire trucks at Touch-A-Truck, get high @ the Cali Bud Fest, and more this weekend in Las vegas.

1. Support local artists @ First Friday

First Friday is a block party for artists.  Hang out Downtown and explore the work of more than 60 creators. This month’s theme is “Dreams,” with famed painter Dray as the lead artist.

There will also be live entertainment and at least 15 food trucks.

When: Friday, 5 – 11 pm

2. Let your kids explore fire trucks @ Touch-A-Truck

This is a quirky one.

If you’re in Vegas with a little one who loves trucks and idolizes firefighters, you’re in luck! The Touch-A-Truck festival comes to Downtown Summerlin this Saturday. Curious kids of all ages can get behind the wheel of more than 60 trucks, including fire trucks, school buses, and more. They can’t go for a drive (obviously), but they can honk the horns after 10 am!

Tickets cost $6 in advance, $8 at the door.

When: Saturday, 9 am – 2 pm 

Where: Downtown Summerlin 

3. Get high @ the Cali Bud Fest

Browse through stalls from more than 100 cannabis and hemp vendors at the Cali Bud Fest. The event’s two separate stages will feature performances by  Dizzy Wright, Kottonmouth Kings with D-loc, EKoh, Afroman, and more, as well as discussions led by leading industry professionals.

Check out the ‘Hemp Casino’ staffed by beautiful girls, judge the Grower’s Cup, and of course, hit the smoking lounge!

Tickets start at $55. VIP packages are also available.

4. Explore Japanese culture @ the Kizuna Japanese Spring Festival

The Kizuna Japanese Spring Festival is back at the Sammy Davis Jr. Festival Plaza in Lorenzi Park.

Explore Japanese culture with authentic food, dance, taiko drum demonstrations, tea ceremonies, and more. The festival is free to attend.

When: Saturday, 11 am – 6 pm

Where: Lorenzi Park

5. Party @ Intrigue

R f s Du Sol is up for a Grammy this Sunday.

If the group wins, awesome – come to their 11 pm celebratory set at Intrigue inside the Wynn. If they don’t win? Come party anyway!

Marshmello is manning XS the same night if that’s more your style.

Tickets start at $85 for R f s Du Sol and $50 for Marshmello.
