#5 Marcus Mariota: The starting job for the Las Vegas Raiders

While Marcus Mariota was all class after coming up short against the Los Angeles Chargers, it should be no secret that he’s gunning for the Raiders’ starting QB role.
Or maybe he isn’t. Maybe Mariota is simply trying to show other teams that he is a viable starter somewhere else in the future. Either way, the first thing on his wishlist is a starting job as quarterback in 2021.
#4 Raiders fans: To fill up Allegiant stadium

Just like a young child eager to get their hands on a new toy, it should come as no surprise that Raider Nation wants to fill their brand-new stadium. Unfortunately, the newly built Allegiant stadium is still at limited capacity. Hopefully, that won t be the case in 2021, and fans can finally get inside, but there is still a lot of unknown between now and then.
#3 Kyle and Kurt Busch: Making the final four

It s no secret Kurt and Kyle Busch didn t have the seasons they wanted in 2020. While both drivers walked away with a victory at the end of the season, neither of them managed to make the final four. Furthermore, Kyle Busch had one of his worst seasons on record.
As for Kurt Busch, he was consistent but never seemed to have good runs when it mattered. Of course, some will point to his win at Las Vegas as proof that not being true, but he didn t make his way into the final four. In fact, he wasn t even a factor in the round of eight this season.
The Busch brothers are looking to reclaim some of that mojo in 2021.
#2 Las Vegas Aces: A second chance at a championship

Let s be honest here.
Watching the Las Vegas Aces get swept by the Seattle Storm in the finals was embarrassing and put an end to one of the best championship runs in league history. Not only was that evident by the way the bench stepped up in the absence of Kelsey Plum and Liz Cambage, but also by the amazing string of wins these women were able to put up.
These women want a redo, and they deserve it. Who knows though! Maybe the addition of Cambage and Plum this year will turn the tide in their favor. Or, the team could implode as they try to find a role for each player, leaving them as mincemeat for the rest of the league. Hopefully, that doesn’t happen though.
Las Vegas Golden Knights: another shot at the Stanley Cup

Speaking of winning a championship, what about the Las Vegas Golden Knights, who were unceremoniously knocked out of the playoffs by the Dallas Stars in the semifinals? Not only did the series of games expose a few of Las Vegas s weaknesses, but it also put an end to what can only be described as a championship run for the ages.
Think about it. This team went 18-4, dominated the round-robin to determine to seed, and blunt forced their way through the playoffs. Of course, a lot of that had to do with their leading scorer, Max Pacioretty, who put up five goals and three assists, but they also had the unbeatable combination of Robin Lehner and Marc Andre Fleury. Hopefully these guys finally get their championship this season. Come on, Lady Luck. Aren t you a Golden Knights fan?
