Pack your sunscreen; it’s getting hot
Planning to be in Las Vegas June 14- 20? Pack your sunscreen and get ready to sweat- it’s going to be hot. According to the national weather service, Las Vegas is in for a serious heatwave. In fact, next week may see the hottest temperatures on record!
It s a little uncertain yet, but it could get warmer than 116, said weather service meteorologist Stan Czyzyk. We re confident in 110 to 116, but it potentially will be a little warmer than that.
Currently, the hottest recorded temperature in the city is 117 degrees Fahrenheit.
The heat rolls into Vegas over the weekend. Saturday, June 12 will see a high of 103, Sunday will see 107, and by Monday the temperature will soar to 109.
