There are several unique spots in Las Vegas to enjoy RV camping. Here are the most convenient options

1. Lake Mead RV village at Boulder Beach

Lake Mead RV Village is a private establishment within a serene environment that favors RV camping. It’s next to the national park, and the area is relatively quiet with beautiful views of Lake Mead. The campsite is limited to RV camping only. Amenities include a store, showers, Wi-Fi access, recreational facilities, and more.

If you do not want to head out too far from the Strip, you can consider RV camping at Oasis Las Vegas RV Resort, which is strategically located a short distance to the South of the Strip. This spot is popular and tends to be fully booked, so it’s wise to make a reservation well in advance to secure a spot. The only modern thing is the vault toilets; otherwise, it is an authentic camping experience in the wild. The views here are spectacular.

The McWilliams campground is an excellent destination if you are looking for a campsite far from the Strip. It takes close to an hour to get here, but it’s worth the drive. It is a beautiful area at the foot of Mount Charleston. Whether you choose to visit in the hotter or cooler months, you will have a good time. The campsite caters to tent or RV campers. You can enjoy the scenic environment, explore the nature trails for a hike, or head out to Big Falls, which are slightly more than twenty minutes away.

5. Valley of Fire State Park

The Valley of Fire State park is one of the most convenient campgrounds for different campers. It is accessible on a first-come, first-served basis and is open any time of the year. There are appealing sites for RV campers and regular campers who pitch tents. It’s aworld away from the city, and the red rock formations make it more spectacular. The RV sites have water and electricity, while the tent sites have extra amenities such as showers and toilets.
