The biggest question in the NASCAR world must be whether Kyle Busch will have a ride in 2023, and it’s taken an interesting turn. Fortunately for those hoping the Las Vegas native keeps his ride over Ty Gibbs, it looks like Gibbs wants Busch in the car for as long as possible. In fact, he announced in an interview this week that he thinks he found a new sponsor for the #18 car in 2023. He also claimed that he was going to take his time moving grandson Ty Gibbs up into the Cup Series.

“We’re really confident that we’re going to have that (No. 18) car squared away, sponsorship-wise, and we’re trying to work on our deal right now with Kyle,” Gibbs said. “So, I think we feel good about it.”

#4 Chelsea Gray gets a contract extension with the Las Vegas Aces

It s no secret that the Las Vegas Aces are the city s best chance for a championship right now, and the team is wasting no time putting all the pieces in place. One of those key pieces is Chelsea Gray, who got signed to a multi-year extension with the team. This comes after only a year with the organization, but they seem to be impressed by her performance so far.

Chelsea Gray signing a multi-year contract with us is like a special gift that keeps on giving, the coach explained. She is a master class point guard whose experience, leadership, and poise make everyone around her better. Chelsea is a valuable coach on the floor. Her vision and ability to orchestrate the pace of a game, along with her crafty offensive skill set, are why she is one of the best playmakers in the WNBA.

#3 Colin Kaepernick shocks everyone by trying out for The Las Vegas Raiders

Las Vegas Raiders General Manager Dave Ziegler recently told reporters that he would welcome Colin Kaepernick on his team, and it seems like he meant it. The former San Francisco 49er Quarterback was asked to work out in Las Vegas last Wednesday. This was the young man’s first official workout in six years.

“The fact that the Raiders are going to have him workout today tells you that there has to be some level of interest in signing him,” ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Wednesday on NFL Live. “That this is not just some cursory look at a free-agent quarterback. Nobody else has been willing to do what the Raiders are doing today.”

#2 Controversy and confusion surround upcoming WWE Money in The Bank PPV

While the Money in the Bank event is usually a welcomed break from the monotony of WWE, it is now shrouded in controversy. The pay-per-view is set to take place at Allegiant Stadium this summer, and everything will be different. Money in the Bank is usually the event where future champions are pegged in an annual ladder match. They win the Money in the Bank briefcase and are guaranteed a championship at a time and place of their choosing.

However, WWE Superstar Cody Rhodes took part in a  commercial that advertised the winners of the briefcase getting to compete in the main event of WrestleMania, an honor usually reserved for The Royal Rumble match. A recent statement by Dave Meltzer from The Wrestling Observer doesn t shine much light on the issue.

The only direct company word regarding that question was there is nothing definitive either way… although that commercial aired three times without an edit.

#1 Jon Gruden takes the NFL to court over leaked emails

Former Las Vegas Raiders coach, Jon Gruden, had a judge rule in his favor to bring his leaked emails lawsuit against the NFL before a jury. The decision comes after the league tried to force the issue into arbitration and to have the case dismissed. Neither of those bids was successful, and now Gruden will have his day court. Was he unfairly ousted by the NFL? We’re all going to find out. The NFL released the following statement after the court’s decision:

“We believe Coach Gruden s claims should have been compelled to arbitration, and we will file an appeal of the Court s determination. The Court s denial of our motion to dismiss is not a determination on the merits of Coach Gruden s lawsuit, which, as we have said from the outset, lacks a basis in law and fact and proceeds from a false premise neither the NFL nor the Commissioner leaked Coach Gruden s offensive emails.”
