Kurt Busch signed a multi-year deal with 23XI Racing to field a second car for the 2022 season, making him a driver to watch. What also makes the Las Vegas native a driver to watch is the fact that Mcdonald’s has extended their partnership with 23XI Racing through the upcoming season. This means the Golden arches will be featured on Bubba Wallace’s and Busch’s cars for much of the season and could be a big part of bringing them back to victory lane.

“Racing with Monster Energy over the last decade together has been an incredible ride,” Busch said of the deal. “We win, we have fun, we promote together, and I am very grateful for their partnership. It feels like family racing for them, and I believe McDonald’s will have the same feel. The power of these brands elevates the No. 45 Camry TRD to a top-tier level before we even take the green flag. Let’s win!”

Las Vegas Raiders kicker Daniel Carlson signed a four-year contract extension with the organization and will become the third highest-paid kicker in the entire league. According to the NFL Network, he’s set to make $18.4 million, with $10 million as a guarantee. He also got a $4 million signing bonus. That’s a lot of money to invest in a kicker, but if anyone deserves it, it would have to be Carlson.

Looking at his stats this season, he made 27 of his 30 field-goal attempts and his longest kick was 56 yards out in a game against the Dallas Cowboys. Carlson also nailed his first ten field goals of the season before going 0 of 1 in a game against the Las Angeles Chargers.

#3 Robin Lehner benched by the Las Vegas Golden Knights

Las Vegas Golden Knights goalie Robin Lehner has had quite a rocky start to the season and is starting to decline in performance as time goes on. In fact, Lehner was benched in favor of Laurent Brossoit last week in a game against the Dallas Stars after giving up three goals in the first two periods. His performance was so bad that fans could be heard cheering when Lehner was finally relieved from the net.

Whether this is a case of Lehner just needing more rest or a bigger issue remains to be seen, but things don’t look particularly promising.

Interestingly enough, the Golden Knights ended up winning that game after rallying to score five goals before the end of the night. Brossoit only let one more goal hit the back of the net, leading to a victory of 5-4 over the Stars.

#2 Jack Eichel not ruled out yet for 2022 Winter Olympics

The Las Vegas Golden Knights acquired Jack Eichel in a trade with the Buffalo Sabres and could be well on their way to a championship as a result. Of course, Eichel will need time to heal from his artificial disk replacement surgery and won’t be in the lineup in January at the earliest. With that being said, he hasn’t been ruled out of the 2022 Winter Olympics yet, giving some fans hope that Eichel will represent his country in the games.

“There’s at least a possibility there,” TSN Hockey insider Chris Johnston said Tuesday on Insider Trading. “The fact that it’s gone quiet is not a reflection of how things are going. In fact, Jack Eichel is right on schedule in terms of his recovery, which leaves the sliver of a possibility that he could be available to Team USA at the Beijing Olympics. At this point, I get the sense that no one wants to put pressure on this recovery. “

#1 Speculation about Jim Harbaugh becoming the new head coach of the las Vegas Raiders

It’s no secret that the Las Vegas Raiders could be looking for a new head coach for 2022. There are a lot of interesting options to fill this vital role, but one seems to be making the most noise. According to ESPN.com, the organization could be looking at current Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh to fill the role. Harbaugh hasn’t coached an NFL team since being fired by the San Francisco 49ers in 2014. This was after Harbaugh had led the team to three NFC championship games in his first three years as a coach. Unfortunately for Harbough, he came up short in his only Super Bowl appearance, falling to the Baltimore Ravens, a team coached by his brother John Harbough.

“If Harbaugh does decide to give the NFL a try again, keep an eye on the Raiders,” ESPN’s Dan Graziano said on Wednesday/ “If anyone’s going to make an outside-the-box hire that isn’t on the NFL’s list of recommended candidates, it’s this guy. The Davis and Harbaugh families have a friendship that dates back.”
