#5 Kyle Busch rips NASCAR for moving to Indianapolis road course

Kyle Busch isn’t happy about NASCAR’s decision to move the annual race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway to the road course. Unfortunately for Busch, however, NASCAR seems firm in its decision.
“It’s not a fun road course, it’s a parking lot,” Busch complained. “It’s disappointing that we are on a road course and not the oval in my opinion. I think the history here is built around the oval and the road course is built for Formula one to take part in history. Now we are all racing on it and the oval stinks.”
Even more unfortunate for Busch was his performance in last weekend’s race. He was caught up in a multi-car accident in the closing laps after a piece of curbing started to come apart. This caused a multi-car melee, and while the Las Vegas native did his best to avoid the incident, he quickly found himself swept up in it. It was another disappointing outing for Busch and his team.
#4 Las Vegas sports teams set covid-19 policies for upcoming season

Governor Steve Sisolak announced that sports teams would have to require masks or vaccinations for everyone attending games.
Here is where each team currently stands:
The Las Vegas Raiders
“At this time, the vaccine requirement policy applies only to Raiders home games at Allegiant Stadium in keeping with the Governor’s State of Nevada Emergency Directive 049.”
The Las Vegas Raiders Monday night home game will allow fans 12 and older that have proof of vaccination status to attend games without wearing a mask. If you’re not vaccinated, you can get a jab on the spot or a refund.
The Las Vegas Aces
The Las Vegas Aces have announced they will keep their policy the same for now, requiring all fans to be masked when at the venue whether they have been vaccinated or not.
“The Aces have no plans to change their policy at this time All fans must remain masked throughout the game, unless eating or drinking, regardless of vaccination status. After tonight’s home game against Washington at 7 pm at Michelob ULTRA Arena, we go on the road, and do not have another home game until September 2. — Las Vegas Aces”
The Las Vegas Golden Knights
In a somewhat surprising move, the Golden Knights have decided that they will not decide what policy to implement at this time and will instead consult local resources to find the most suitable answer for everyone.
“We are aware of the recent announcements from the Governor regarding large venues and possible vaccination requirements. We will continue to follow the applicable guidance and recommendations from state and local health officials, the National Hockey League, and the CDC. If any adjustments are made to our existing fan policies, we will communicate those changes once confirmed.” — Golden Knights organization
#3 Aces top Mystics

The Las Vegas Aces were down by nine points heading into halftime against the Washington Mystics, and while many thought this would be the end of the team, they ended up rallying to win the game 93-83. This effort was lead by Kelsey Plum, who came off the bench in the fourth quarter and absolutely lit up the scoreboard. In fact, 21 of her 24 points in the game came in the second half, proving that there is a lot of depth off the bench on this Las Vegas Aces team.
A’ja Wilson also contributed heavily to the victory, scoring 19 points, 14 rebounds, and 5 assists in the team’s victory!
#2 Huge fight breaks out at joint practice between Raiders and Rams

Are the Las Vegas Raiders disciplined enough?
That is the question going around the NFL after the Raiders and the Los Angeles Rams have gotten into a skirmish for the second straight day in a row during joint practice. Thursday’s fight, however, was so bad that it forced Raiders coach Jon Gruden to send both teams to their respective buses. Helmets were even ripped off and punches thrown as the two teams fought it out on the gridiron.
The incidents occurred throughout the joint practices and started with a hard hit by Jalen Ramsey on Joshua Jacobs that forced him out of bounds. This was followed up by some trash talking towards cornerback Jalen Ramsey, who was bested twice by Wide Reciever Hunter Rentfrow, and the Raiders wasted no time letting him know that. The next day, Ramsey was seen barking at Renfrow during 7 on 7 drills, but the Renfrow clapped back with quality catches again.
In the end, this isn’t a good look for the Las Vegas Raiders. Two fights in two days isn’t an auspicious start.
#1 Jon Gruden not happy after fight in Raiders joint practice

Las Vegas Raiders head coach, Jon Gruden, was forced to send both teams to the buses this week after a fight popped off for the second straight day in a row against the Rams. Both coaches were visibly frustrated after the practice, but Gruden seemed particularly angry at his team.
There s no message, Gruden told ESPN. They know. They know better. Everybody knows better. And again, it wasn t everybody fighting it will be on TV, you ll see a bunch of guys screaming and yelling but it was two guys in the special teams period. And then it was a lot of trash-talking that escalated. Just sickening, really, it s just stupidity. I m done with that. It s just child s play to me.
