While the Las Vegas Golden Knights had their fate sealed in a Game 6 matchup against the Montreal Canadiens, it’s never too early to start thinking about next season. That’s why the Golden Knights are hosting auditions for their cheer team and ice crew. This includes jobs like pumping people up inside T-Mobile Arena, dancing during break periods, and promoting upcoming games. This should honestly be on the bucket list of every Las Vegas sports fan and would be a memorable way to intertwine yourself with the franchise for years to come.

You can apply for the job here. Please note that you will be asked to submit a headshot and will need to record a 90-second video of yourself.

Fans expect big things from the upcoming Summerslam at Allegiant Stadium, and main event rumors are swirling. According to Brian Meltzer from the Wrestling Observer, 16 Time WWE Champion John Cena is expected to take on current Universal Champion Roman Reigns for the title. Now, this gives WWE a chance to capitalize on John Cena’s immense popularity to create a box office draw for Summerslam.

3. Kurt Busch edges Kyle Busch in battle of the Las Vegas natives at Atlanta

The Busch brothers battled it out last Sunday at Atlanta Motor Speedway, but it was Kurt Busch who edged his little brother out for his first win of the season. The moment was made even more controversial because Kurt Busch’s teammate Ross Chastain’s blocking moves in the final laps. This allowed Kurt Busch to grab the lead and paved his way into the postseasons. What he does from here remains to be seen, but it was nice to watch Kurt Busch and Chip Ganassi Racing enjoying one more win before turning over their assets to Trackhouse racing at the end of the season.

Shake and bake! Yeah, and the 42, he did his job as a teammate, Kurt Busch told NBC Sports post-race. Ross is going to get a little flak for it, but that s what it takes to be a good teammate at the right moment, so I couldn t be more proud of Ross Chastain. I ll pay him back eventually, but right now this is our No. 1 car in Victory Lane.

4. Liz Cambage withdraws from Toyoko Olympics

Liz Cambage shocked the world after posting on Instagram that she was withdrawing from the 2021 Toyoko games due to mental health issues. The star center for the Las Vegas Aces was set to play for Team Australia in the games but decided to back out due to it being a bubble Olympics. This meant that players would be confined to their rooms in between games and forced to undergo a myriad of procedures.

“It’s no secret that in the past I’ve struggled with my mental health and recently I’ve been really worried about heading into a ‘bubble’ Olympics,” Cambage posted to social media last week. The Las Vegas Aces star also withdrew from the 2020 WNBA season due to health concerns but returned to the team in 2021 to average 14 points and 8.9 rebounds per game. Unfortunately for Team Australia, the loss of Camabge leaves them with a huge hole fill going into the games.
