Las Vegas native Kurt Busch is currently having one of the most inconsistent seasons of his entire Cup Series career, and things only got worse last week at Darlington Raceway. In fact, the former Cup Series champion was” knicked” by Ricky Stenhouse Jr and sent straight into the outside retaining wall. His #1 Chip Ganassi Racing Chevrolet then broke a full line, resulting in the vehicle erupting in flames. Busch was able to bring the car to a park within seconds of it catching fire and got out unharmed.
Unfortunately for Busch, he also took a sizable hit in the points, which leaves him below the cutoff line if the playoffs were to start tomorrow. Furthermore, he is currently 20th in the standings and is unlikely to make the playoffs on points.
#3 NFL schedule released. Raiders have a bumpy road ahead.

The NFL released 2021 schedules for all 32 NFL teams and the Raiders seem to have gotten the worst of it. Not only is that evident by them going up against two of the best defenses in the league in the Ravens and the Steelers, but also by their week three matchup against the up-and-coming Miami Dolphins. If nothing else, the 17-game schedule leaves the Las Vegas Raiders a huge hill to climb in order just to make the playoffs, but there are some upsides for the team as well.
In fact, they have a bye in week eight, giving them a break in between their games between the Eagles and the Giants. They also have a three-game stretch against the Chargers, Bears, and the Broncos, which could all be easy wins. Finally, they take on the Browns, Broncos, Colts, and Chargers in a four-game stretch that could easily lead to some late-season victories.
#2 Las Vegas Raiders start the march back to the Stanley Cup Finals with a series vs the Minnesota Wild

The Las Vegas Golden Knights took on the Minnesota Wild in the first round of the playoffs Sunday night, falling 1 – 0 in overtime. They have a tall task ahead of them now if they want to reach the Stanley Cup. If they somehow manage to come out of this series with the victory, they will then move on to face the winner of the St. Louis Blues versus The Colorado Avalanche series. Every game from now on is going to be a must-watch must win, and must survive.
#1 Angel McCoughtry out for the 2021 season with torn ACL and meniscus

The Las Vegas Aces new super-team took a huge hit this week when Angel McCoughtry was diagnosed with a torn ACL/ Meniscus that will leave her out for the entire season. The incident happened during a scrimmage against the Los Angeles Sparks, where McCoughry came down wrong on a rebound. The injury was so bad that they had to carry her off the court and she returned in the second half to the bench in a wheelchair, pretty much telling everyone what they would come to know a few short days later.
With that being said and McCoughtry’s firepower in mind, this is devasting to the depth of this team’s roster. It will also leave the remaining players with a huge hole to fill in her absence.
