Kurt Busch reviving his career, Jon Gruden knocked in coaching polls, and Ryan Reaves out for two games. All on this week in Las Vegas sports.

#5 Raiders announce parking prices for 2021 season.

It’s no secret that Raider Nation is counting down the days until they can finally see their favorite team inside Allegiant Stadium, but it looks like they will be counting a lot of dollars for parking as well. The organization announced game day parking spots for the upcoming season would cost fans $75 on average.

Add that to the cost of a hot dog and a soda inside Allegiant Stadium and let’s just say you shouldn’t leave your wallet at home on game night.

Las Vegas native Kyle Busch doesn’t always hand out compliments about other drivers, which makes it all the more special when he actually does give his endorsement.

Fortunately for the four young guns at Hendrick Motorsports, the two-time Cup Series champion praised the whole team for their performance so far this season and even said Hendrick had a superstar in Kyle Larson.

That’s some big praise in the NASCAR world and could set the stage for an era of Hendrick dominance.

They ve certainly gone to work and done their homework, Busch said. They ve also plugged in a superstar driver to one of their cars. Chase is no slouch, William is really good, but Kyle is arguably one of the best. I think they ve done a really good job obviously of getting good equipment, good pieces and Kyle is making the most of it for sure.

#3 Jon Gruden knocked in coaching poll

Is Jon Gruden the worst coach in the NFL right now? Although Gruden does still have adamant defenders, probably the same people who followed him in his championship run with the Buccaneers, he has constantly been the subject of ridicule.

Whether it was a bad play call, giving up 474 points to opposing offenses, or blowing a good pick in the NFL draft, Gruden has become a meme at this point. Unfortunately for Gruden, things have only gotten worse after he was named one of the worst teams in the NFL by NBC Sports

“Gruden s squads have allowed an average of 454 points, never surrendering fewer than 418. That places impossible strain on the offense, leaving zero margins for error with an attack that focuses on the run and station-to-station passing. ” Senior NBC sports writer, Patrick Daugherty said.

Rumor has it that 23XI Racing, co-owned by Denny Hamlin and Michale Jordan, will add a second driver to their team next year, creating massive conversations about who will join the thriving team.

While nothing is a done deal yet, the Athletic is reporting that 23XI racing has Kurt Busch on their shortlist of drivers they would like to see racing for the organization next season.

According to Jordan Bianchi of the Athletic, “Busch said Saturday he hasn’t had any contract talks with either Chip Ganassi Racing or 23XI Racing, saying any discussion would begin sometime this summer, and language in his contract precludes him from talking to other organizations.”

Now, this is bizarre because many thought Busch would retire at the end of the 2021 season. Is he really going to be in a position to win another championship?

Ryan Reaves has officially been suspended for two games after hitting a Colorado Avalanche player in the back of the head and bashing his skull against the ice. Reaves even managed to pull out some hair in the scuffle.

Other fights broke out as a result of the original melee, creating an interesting ten-minute power play situation for the Avalance, who capitalized by scoring another goal.

While Reaves’s motives aren’t exactly known, some believe his actions were retribution for a hit in the first period that took out Mattias Janmark for the entire game.

In the end, Reaves stuck up for his teammate and fought for his team, but he’s going to spend some time on the couch as a result of his actions.
