Las Vegas Derby Specials 2021

Derby weekend is a great time to be in Vegas! There are so many fun experiences to enjoy, even if you don’t care about the actual horse race. Here are some fantastic places to celebrate before, during, and after the event:

1. Honey Salt

Head over to 1031 S. Rampart Boulevard, where Honey Salt will be having a fantastic brunch. The Derby brunch menu has specials, including buttermilk biscuits to enjoy alongside bacon and delicious cheddar, a walnut and bourbon Derby pie, a Kentucky sandwich, hot and cold drinks, and more. A bonus experience is a particular contest for the person with the best Derby hat, and prizes are available.

2. Rosina Cocktail Lounge

Rosina Cocktail Lounge is the place to be after post time to enjoy drinks with friends. This posh outlet at the Palazzo offers refreshing drinks like Juleps. Apart from the traditional Julep, they also have a Colonial Julep, Prescription Julep, and other classic refreshments. The cocktails do not disappoint, and you can find fantastic combinations of your favorite drinks, including cognac, cane syrup, bourbon, coffee liqueur, apple brandy, and more.

3. Yardbird Southern Table & Bar

At Yardbird Southern Table & Bar, there will be a special menu throughout the Derby weekend from Friday running through to Sunday. This restaurant is known for its predominantly southern cuisine and wide selection of bourbon. This weekend, any diners wearing a Derby Hat can enjoy complimentary mimosas. There is a special takeout-only combo available comprising of deviled eggs, a box of sliders, spicy smoked pecans, grits, fried green tomatoes, and more, going for only $145.

4. Rampart Casino

The excitement spreads out to the casino space, and the Rampart is one of the casinos to check out this weekend. Players stand a chance to win a $150 gift certificate if they bet a minimum of $20 on the race. There is also a chance to win $250 in free slot play if you show up at Marketplace Buffet wearing the most interesting Derby hat. For this contest, the guest must show up between 1 pm and 3 pm on Saturday. Drinks will be available with a unique mint julep at only $2 at the casino bar.

5. The Book at The Linq

Sportsbooks will be packed during Derby weekend; you need a reservation if you want to sit down. Groups of six can reserve a table for the entire day at the Book at the Linq for $550, and at least $200 put down for food and drink.
