Date Night in Vegas: Where I Go

Don’t think that Vegas is only fun for singles or large groups of friends. Sin City has plenty of opportunities for couples to have a great time. Here are my favorite places to go on Dates.

A solo night out in Sin City can very well be the best time of your life. Facts!

But a night out with a special someone can be significantly more rewarding if you know where to go.

Here is where I like to go on Date Night.

Fremont Street

Whenever I m looking for a fun, nondescript date night out, I always take my date for a walk down Fremont Street. This famous stretch of road is one of the quintessential Vegas experiences and for a good reason: everything that is emblematic and great of Sin City can be found along Fremont.

Tons of bars, casinos, shows, lights, and much more.

Downtown Summerlin

For a great Sunday date idea, you can visit Downtown Summerlin.

A stroll through Downtown Summerlin is a great deal of fun regardless of what your date considers a good time. For example, foodies have at their disposal a varied mix of restaurants and dining opportunities. My favorites are Nittaya s Secret Kitchen and Vintner Grill.

Besides world-class dining, Downtown Summerlin also offers shops, indoor and outdoor event venues, and entertainment options like Dave and Busters and a Regal Cinema movie theater.

The Laundry Room

On nights that I feel like my date will enjoy a bit of drinking, I will almost always hit up the Laundry Room.

The Laundry Room is a fantastic speakeasy type of joint, and it has one of the city s top mixologists. It s a bit on the pricey side but, depending on your date, that might actually provide you with an opportunity to show off a bit.

Dive-In Movies

Drive-in movie theaters have gotten a surge thanks to the whole Covid-19 pandemic, but Vegas has something far more exciting: Dive-In Movies at the Cosmopolitan.

Every Monday night, the Marquee at the Boulevard Pool transforms into a gigantic movie screen. You can swim or lounge poolside while enjoying fun, movie-themed drinks, and snacks.

I ve never had a bad date at the Dive-In.

Hemenway Valley Park Picnic

If your date is chill and down for some relaxing picnic fun, you can t go wrong with a visit to Hemenway Park in Boulder City.

Last time I took a date to Hemenway Park, we got a nice Gazebo that offered some fantastic views of the sprawling green grass and bighorn sheep. You can bring your food or get some tasty treats from the local establishments.

All in all, its a great place to have a chill time and get to know your date.
