#4 Las Vegas Raiders

The Las Vegas Raiders have made a lot of changes to their team over the offseason, but the oddsmakers don’t seem very impressed. In fact, the Raiders are already listed as the +4.5 underdog to lose to the Baltimore Ravens in Week 1 of the regular season. If that isn’t bad enough, the lines.com lists the Raider’s chances of making the playoffs at +350. Looking deeper into the odds, the Raiders stand at +10,000 to win the Super Bowl this year, making them one of the least likely teams to make it to the big dance.

The Raiders odds for winning the AFC West is listed at 2500, while them winning the AFC outright is 4100. Finally, thelines.com predicts the Raiders will only win seven games next season at odds of -110. In the end, Clearly, the experts believe the team will face the same old problems this season.

#3 The Las Vegas Golden knights

The Las Vegas Golden Knights are heading into the 2021-2022 season as a bit of a mixed bag. Sure, the team just made the playoffs for the second year in a row, but losing Marc-Andre Fleury is a huge blow to the organization. Furthermore, the loss of Cody Glass and a few other supporting players have really cast doubt on whether this is a squad that can go all the way again.

With that being said, the Las Vegas Golden Knights are listed as -1600 to make the playoffs and +900 to miss the postseason. Again, a lot of that probably has to do with Fleury being traded to the Blackhawks during the offseason. Keep in mind that Flury was a deciding factor in the Golden Knights’ defense throughout the season and into the playoffs. He even won the Vezina trophy.

As it stands, the Golden Knights have very mixed odds when it comes to winning the Stanley Cup trophy at the end of the 2022 season. For example, Draft Kings has the Knights with the 3rd best odds in the league at +800. The consensus seems to be that the Golden Knights will be in the running for a championship next season, but no one has them listed as the clear favorite.

#2 Kyle and Kurt Busch

Kyle Busch or Kurt Busch. Which las Vegas native wins the NASCAR Cup Series championship in 2021?

While both Busch brothers are currently locked into the Cup Series playoffs based on wins this season, that doesn’t guarantee them an easy ride in the postseason. In fact, between the cutthroat nature of elimination races and a bad day setting you behind the eight ball for an entire round, it should come as no surprise that both drivers face an uphill battle once the playoffs start at Darlington. Of course, Kyle will start 3rd in the playoffs thanks to wins and playoff pots for winning stages, but Kurt won’t be as lucky.

Unfortunately for the elder Busch brother, he will likely start 11th in the playoff field, leaving him only two spots ahead of the first cut line. Not only does this mean that Kurt can’t afford a bad race in the opening round, but it also leaves his chances even more in doubt of making it further than that.

With all this in mind, Kyle Busch is listed with the 3rd best odds to win a championship at +650. As for Kurt Busch, he is much further down the list, currently sitting at +2500 odds.

#1 The Las Vegas Aces

Believe it or not, the Las Vegas Aces are the favorites to win the WNBA Championship after the break for the Toyko Olympics and are currently listed at +220. Their biggest threat is the Seattle Storm, who swept them in three games in last year’s WNBA Finals. While the defeat was humiliating, especially since it marked their first finals appearance, they didn’t have several key pieces in place that are paying dividends for them now. We’re talking about Chelsea Gray, Liz Cambage, and Riquina Williams, players who have helped turn the Aces into an all-star team.

In the end, the Aces will face many challenges in the playoffs this season, but you could argue that they have the weapons to go all the way. In fact, between Liz Cambage anchoring the defense and A’ja Wilson leading the offensive flurry, the Aces seem to have something special here. Can they parlay that into the first championship win of the team’s history?
