The history of the world during the last couple of centuries has been written in coffee shops. This is by no means an exaggeration- although modern-day culture revolves around other epicenters, the truth of the matter is that coffee shops have always been home to dynamic personalities that change the world around them.
There, among delicious pastries and strong doses of caffeine, some of the most exciting ideas to have shaped our present were thought out. So, if you want to cultivate both your mind and palate, these are the places you should consider visiting on your next trip to Sin City.
Vesta Coffee Roasters

Vesta Coffee Roasters can boast being my circle of friends’ favorite coffee house in all of Vegas. Named after the Roman Goddess of the hearth, Vesta prides itself in serving quality roasts of traceable bean origins.
Every cup of specialty-grade coffee brewed here is freshly roasted; so, whether you choose to go with an Espresso, Americano, Macchiato, Cortado, Latte, or a Flat White, it’s going to be damned good.
Their specialty coffees, such as the hazelnut-maple latte and the salted pistachio latte, are out-of-this-world good.
Vesta also offers a wide range of sweet and savory dishes. My favorites include their almond croissant, black bean sandwich, and the fall apple pecan salad.
Sambalatte

This exclusive Las Vegas caff lounge & espresso bar is my personal favorite coffee shop in the city.
I ve been a regular customer for years, and never once have I been disappointed. Sambalatte offers a varied offering of high-quality coffees, teas, and various other gourmet drinks. Their sweet and savory pastry selection is, bar none, one of the best in town.
The atmosphere is great, whether you are looking for a quiet place to set up with your work laptop or a nice place to meet and chat with friends.
I highly recommend the chocolate pistachio dacquoise, their anise lattice cookies, and pear tart.
On the drink front, you cannot miss their chocolate cappuccino and their iced latte.
PublicUs

A local favorite, PublicUs is a cool and funky coffee shop that offers a wide variety of high-quality hot and cold coffees, teas, and other assorted beverages.
This is also the place to find some great breakfast options if you re tired of your hotel s menu. I ve gone to PublicUS several times intending to get a cup of joe for breakfast, and ended up staying for a heartier meal. The menu is just that good.
I highly recommend you try the Song Shakerato: Espresso, Oolong Tea Syrup, Half and Half, Lavender, and Coffee Dust.
On the sandwich front, you can’t miss their grilled steak, fried fish, and braised broccolini options.
If you re feeling adventurous, make sure to give their chimichurri steak and eggs a try.
