6 Vegas Restaurants That Were Supposed to Open Last Year

Here are six amazing Las Vegas restaurants that should have made their debut in 2020- and didn’t

1. TAK Room

This one has already created a buzz because it’s affiliated to top chef Thomas Keller, whose work is seen in the Bouchon Bistro and Bakeries. A new restaurant at the Wynn would have been one for the books, but the plans seem to have stalled, and it is uncertain if and when the Tak Room will launch.

2. Lucky Cat

Gordon Ramsay was to run the show on this restaurant, and it would have been a fine dining location. The lucky Cat was to be an Asian-inspired eatery with an evening lounge. No official venue has been publicly announced for the restaurant, but the expectations are similar to what Gordon Ramsay launched in London’s Mayfair region.

3. Frida Mexican Cuisine

Information about this restaurant launching in Vegas came from construction paperwork that brought excitement with Frida Mexican Cuisine taking over space at the Forum Shops in Caesars. Although the owners are yet to announce the launch officially, it should rank among the best Mexican-style restaurants in Vegas open for brunch, lunches, and dinner.

4. Dragon Tiger Noodle Co.

No launch date has been announced for this restaurant yet, but chef Jet Tila should open three eatery locations of the Dragon Tiger Noodle Co., specializing in outstanding Asian cuisine. However, the restaurant had already shared its idea of building your menu option that would see diners have access to a great choice of noodles and great meats, including pork belly and Chinese chicken with generous toppings and sauces.

5. Virgin Hotel’s Restaurant

The Virgin Hotel gives hope with an anticipated launch date sometime in Spring of 2021 at the former Hard Rock Hotel. It will be a massive restaurant spot with about 12 food and drink venues, a gigantic pool, outdoor lawn areas, and a showroom serving cocktails and light snacks.

6. Delilah

The Delilah is another anticipated 2021 restaurant that failed to debut in 2020 but has plans underway of launching in 2021 at the Wynn Las Vegas. It will be a 20s inspired supper club expected to offer excellent bottle service.  The launch date will be set soon.
