1. Watching the Bellagio Fountains

I m a big fan of the Ocean s Eleven franchise naturally, I couldn t pass up the opportunity to watch the breathtaking dancing fountains at the Bellagio Hotel and Casino! I arrived there early to stake out my spot, which was fortunate because three entire busloads of tourists showed up a few minutes before the performance started. But thanks to my efforts, I was able to enjoy an unobstructed view of the fountains dancing to My Heart Will Go On by Celine Dion.
2. Tasting Beef Wellington

For those of you who regularly watch the reality show, Hell s Kitchen, then you might have noticed the high regard that all the contestant chefs place on Beef Wellington the signature dish of Gordon Ramsay himself. I knew that a trip to Las Vegas wouldn t be complete without dinner at Hell s Kitchen in Caesars Palace, so I made sure to book a reservation and to order a few of the show s most notable dishes, including the Beef Wellington. The only thing I can say is that its flavors were well worth the price tag!
3. Experiencing Fremont Street

The bright lights of Fremont Street have been a mainstay in many Hollywood movies, but I was totally unprepared for how extraordinary the real thing was! The night that we were there, a fantastic light show involving music from Bon Jovi was taking place on the ceiling above us, which made for an experience like no other. Without a doubt, Fremont Street was one of the highlights of my Vegas trip.
4. Taking a Helicopter Ride over the Grand Canyon

I was initially a bit hesitant about touring the Las Vegas Strip and the Grand Canyon via a helicopter mainly because of the price. Looking back at it, though, it was undeniably an experience that I most probably won t get to have anywhere else. The glitz and glamour of Sin City seemed even more pronounced from up in the air and the phenomenal towering rocks of the Grand Canyon were even prettier when viewed from above. Absolutely no regrets at all!
5. Visiting the Shark Reef Aquarium

Sharks are one of my favorite animals, which was why the Shark Reef Aquarium at the Mandalay Bay Resort was a must-visit for me. The facilities were impressive, housing more than a thousand animals, as well as sharks of all shapes and sizes. Plus, it was great to know from our guide that they actually work with real-life wildlife and marine biologists to preserve our world s endangered habitats and species. If you re interested in supporting such a cause, then stopping by the Shark Reef Aquarium is highly recommended.
6. Speeding Down the Las Vegas Motor Speedway

I ve always wanted to try driving a Lamborghini and I finally got my chance at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway! Here, we were given a wide range of luxury and sports cars to choose from, all of which we could drive down designated tracks at whatever speed we liked. My childhood dreams of becoming a Formula One driver were definitely fulfilled on that day.
