#5 NASCAR all star race

Let s be honest here. NASCAR needs to cater to the mainstream. Now, that doesn’t mean the sport can’t be the thrill ride it was 10 to 15 years ago. It just means that attention spans aren t what they used to be.
That s why NASCAR needs to go all-in on this gambling theme and totally rework the all-star race from start to finish. Whether that means reversing the field at the end of a segment, forcing drivers to decide between track position and tires, or even just having extremely short segments, NASCAR needs to cash in on this concept.
Doing this at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway could open the door to the sport finding a new audience. Sure, it will be a little gimmicky, but starting in Las Vegas could show fans just how fun this kind of format could be.
#4 Esports championship

While the title might sound a little vague, esports is becoming a billion-dollar industry despite the pandemic and would be a great sport for Las Vegas to host. In fact, between esports becoming more and more common in sportsbooks around the world and the tourism the event will generate, it would be a win for everyone involved.
Whether it be the Call of Duty league, the Overwatch League, or something else, Las Vegas would really benefit from hosting a gaming championship in the future.
#3 Super Bowl

Believe it or not, the NFL hasn t penciled in a location for their Super Bowl in 2025 and current oddsmakers have Las Vegas as the leading candidate. It just seems like one of those things that are meant to happen. Almost like peanut butter and jelly.
Vegas has a huge, newly built, state-of-the-art stadium, a plethora of die-hard football fans in the area, and plenty of room for people coming in to watch the big game.
#2 NASAR Championship race

Now that we have discussed the idea of having NASCAR s all-star race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, we can now expand that to the city hosting the series finale as well. NASCAR can again play up a gambling theme for the race, the track will be hard to maneuver, and the high speeds will create high stakes between the championship four.
While ISM speedway in Phoenix Arizona was a great choice to host the finale for 2020, it shouldn t be where NASCAR ultimately decides to hold the final race of the season. That right should belong to Las Vegas Motor Speedway, whose higher speeds, better racing, and tough driving conditions will make for a better show.
#1 WrestleMania

Can you believe Las Vegas hasn t hosted a WrestleMania since 1993? Not only is that a huge crime against pro wrestling fans in the area, but it also means WWE is missing out on something special. Nothing could be better for WWE and the city right now than to host a Las Vegas-themed WrestleMania event. It could even take place inside the newly built Allegiant stadium.
