1. Misses the playoffs

Kyle Busch is only 100 points above the playoff cutline and while a win would automatically put him into the playoffs, he hasn t really shown any competitiveness this season. In fact, between only posting seven top-five and nine top-tens in 16 races, it looks like Busch is as far away from playoff ready than he has ever been.
It would take several blown engines, a multitude of bad pit calls, a few run-ins with other drivers, and a complete emotional meltdown for Busch to miss the playoffs, but it s not impossible. It s just unlikely.
2. Eliminated from playoffs in round 1

Kyle Busch could very well end up making the 2020 postseason, but how long will he last exactly? He doesn’t seem to be in the same championship form that he once was.
Between his mixed results at two of the three tracks earlier this season, Busch s early exit from the playoffs could be all but guaranteed.
3. #3 Eliminated after round 3

If you thought round one would spell the doom of NASCAR s most dominant driver, just wait until he must deal with Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Talladega Super Speedway and The Charlotte Roval. While Busch does hold wins at two of the three tracks ( Talladega and Las Vegas) his results this season at both were severely lackluster.
4. Makes final four, but dosen’t win the championship

Now it s time to answer the big questions and that no doubt has to be whether Kyle Busch can win the championship or not. Remember, this time around, the finale race will play out at ISM Speedway in Phoenix Arizona, which means the four drivers will be facing a short track of sorts
Busch is going to have to step in up and do much better than the finishes he has gotten so far this season if he wants to be anywhere near the final four.
5. Wins The Cup Series title

Does Kyle Busch win the 2020 Cup Series title? That really depends on which Kyle Busch shows up to the 2020 final at ISM Speedway. Will it be the Kyle Busch that has knocked off win after win season after season? Will it be the Kyle Busch that broke both his legs, recovered and ending up winning five races on his way to a first championship.
Or will the Kyle Busch of new show up? The one that can t seem to get his car set up right, makes constant mistakes, and gets caught up in everyone else s mess?
