Kyle Busch doesn t always get into a fight after a race, but one of the times he did he was in his hometown of Las Vegas Nevada. Busch was walking down pit road looking for Joey Logano after the two made contact on the track, resulting in Busch spinning out. Once Busch found The Penske Racing driver, he tore into him with a left hand but was met by Logano, who came out swinging. The two guys and their entire crews scuffled for a bit before both were removed from the situation.
While the crowd was already electric after seeing Busch in a boxing match on pit road, a camera cut on the jumbotron revealed that he had also taken damage during the fight. In fact, while NASCAR officials and his own team struggled to keep him moving, you could see a cut above his eye. It wasn t a big cut or anything, but the crowd went nuts for it and Logano was asked if he took any damage during the altercation, to which he responded with a cocky smile, claiming “None on me. Busch couldn’t say the same.
#4 Las Vegas native Jon Moxley gets buried by WWE on his way out

It’s no secret that WWE isn’t a big fan of Superstars wanting to jump ship to other companies, which is why happened to Jon Moxley was no surprise. The Las Vegas native faced a series of bizarre segments that seemed aimed at ruining his pro wrestling career. It was as if WWE was livid that Moxley wasn’t grateful for his time there and would do anything to make his remaining contract a living hell.
One particular moment that stands out is a 2019 edition of Monday Night RAW, where Moxley interrupted a talk show segment and picked a fight with NXT call-up, EC3. He also took a jab at a female Superstar for having a thing for him, making it one of the weirdest segments in the show’s history. The five-car pileup ended with Moxley challenging EC3 to a match, only to lose by roll up a few minutes in. Just embarrassing. This was a huge decline for Moxley, who debuted with The Shield faction years early and went on to win The WWE Championship once.
#3 Las Vegas Aces get swept in the 2020 WNBA Finals

The Las Vegas Aces had the odds stacked against them during the 2020 season, but they never really let that bother them. In fact, despite losing Liz Camabge and Kelsey Plum, the team managed to make the playoffs with relative ease. They would then end up going on a postseason run that would become their best in the organization’s history. A run that could have led them to their first championship.
The Aces eventually made it to the Finals, where they faced the Seattle Storm in what they hoped would be their defining moment. Sadly, the injury-ridden Aces couldn’t keep up with the Storm and got swept in the Championship Series. A’ja Wilson did win league MVP honors despite the loss, but the sweep left a bad taste in sports fans’ mouths. It also seemed to have killed The Ace’s momentum going forward.

Winning a championship in your first year as an organization is no easy feat to accomplish. The Las Vegas Golden Knights came close, though, in 2017 after finishing the regular season with a 51-24 record, accumulating 109 points in the process. The team would then go on to wreak havoc in the playoffs, going 12-3 in the first three rounds of play. The Cinderella story didn t last, though, as they lost the Stanley Cup Finals series 4-1. The Golden Knights haven t been back to the finals since then and show no sign of doing so anytime soon.
#1 Las Vegas Raiders get destroyed by The Los Angeles Chargers on MNF

The Las Vegas Raiders were riding high at the beginning of the 2021 season, and it looked like nothing could stand in the team’s way. Not only was that evident by the way they managed to defeat their first three opponents of their season, but also by how Derek Carr was performing during clutch moments.
The good times wouldn’t last, though, and Las Vegas was met with the equivalent of a brick wall in week four of the season when they faced the Los Angeles Chargers. The opposing team managed to hold Derek Carr to just over 50 yards in the first half of the game and left the Raiders scoreless. The defense couldn’t hold up either, allowing three unanswered touchdowns is in the first half o a game. It was a disaster.
While the Raiders would eventually score two touchdowns in an attempt to mount a comeback, they were still handed their first loss of the season by the Chargers. Things got even worse when Chargers’ Defensive End Nick Bosa spoke out about Carr’s lack of performance during the game and didn’t have very kind things to say.
“We knew once we hit him a few times, he really gets shook,” Bosa said after handing Derek Carr his first loss of the 2021 season. “And you saw on [Christian Covington’s] sack, he was pretty much curling into a ball before we even got back there. Great dude, great player … but we know once you get pressure on him, he kind of shuts down.”
