#5 The Las Vegas Raiders have a horrible record at home

Just how bad is the Las Vegas Raiders’ record at Allegiant Stadium? Let’s start with the fact that they were outscored 253-268 in their own house and 2-6 at home last season. Even worse, the Raiders didn’t even score the first touchdown in their new stadium. That honor goes to The New Orleans Saints, who let Alvin Kamura run it in for a two-yard touchdown. We might just want to go ahead and label Allegiant stadium the unluckiest place to play football in the NFL. At least for the Raiders.
#3 No one from Las Vegas has every won the WWE or World Heavyweight title

Can you believe a Las Vegas native has never held a major belt in WWE history? That’s a pretty strange note for Sin City and shows its unfortunate lack of depth when it comes to pro wrestling history. Sure, the city had the honor of being home to CM Punk’s infamous pipebomb that blurred the lines between fantasy and reality, but it also hosted WrestleMania 9, which is still considered one of the worst showcases of the immortals of all time.
#3 Las Vegas Golden Knights made the finals in their first season

The Las Vegas Golden Knights were spectacular in their first season as an organization and even posted a record of 51-25, which earned them a playoff spot in their very first year! Not only is that an accomplishment all on its own, especially with how little time the Knights had to gel as an official team, but it also set them up for their second-biggest achievement of that season. The Knights would go on all the way to the Stanley Cup Finals! It was a miracle season. It was also the first time that a Las Vegas professional sports team had ever made it to a championship game.
#2 Las Vegas Aces only team to get swept in the 2020 finals

2020 was a crazy year for the entire world, especially with the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, but it was also one of the Las Vegas Ace’s best seasons as an organization. In fact, between going 18-4 during the regular season and making it to the finals, it was quite a year for a team that no one really thought had a chance at the beginning. Unfortunately for then underdog Aces, they were swept in the Finals by the Seattle Storm, making them the only team in las Vegas professional sports history to have this happen to them.
#1 The Raiders are the only proffesinal sports team to not make the playoffs

Sorry, Raider Nation. The Raiders are currently the only professional sports team in Las Vegas that hasn’t made it to the playoffs yet. Of course, the team has been in Sin City for a total of one season now, but still. The Raiders haven’t managed to score a playoff spot in six years. Fortunately for the black and silver, however, they have Derek Carr, Josh Jacobs, Henry Ruggs III, Richie Incognito, and several other players that could easily pave the way to another championship. It’s just a matter of time ladies and gentlemen.
