With Matt Damon on the lineup, it’s almost definite that the movie is a must-watch, even if you have no idea what it’s about. He stars as a young poker player, and the storyline escalates when his friend, played by Edward Norton, has to pay off some thugs. Their only way to get the money is to play cards. The movie demonstrates how banter and bluffing are crucial on the table and shows winning takes skill and luck.
3. The Hangover
The Hangover needs no introduction. This 2009 storyline isn’t really about gambling, but anyone interested in going to Vegas can learn a thing or two about what to expect. They then take trips to Vegas to put this into action for big wins. In the movie, they find themselves in problems from their quest for power and greed for more. It’s a fascinating movie based on a true story.
