It features beautiful hiking trails in a forest of pine trees and limestone cliffs. Even better, you get to enjoy the scenic view of the Kyle Canyon Mountains and breathe the cool, crisp airs of the mountain. There is also a spectacular 50-foot waterfall at the end of the trails for some nice photography.
2. Wetlands Park Nature Preserve
Wetlands Park Nature Preserve is situated at 7050 Wetlands Park Lane off of Tropicana Ave. This is among the city’s best-kept secrets, and here you will undoubtedly have a great time. It features a 210-acre vast wildlife maze with animals and exotic plants. You get to see birds, jackrabbits, cottonwood trees, ponds, and lots of other beautiful wonders of nature. This gem is just 15 minutes from the Vegas Strip.
3. Springs Preserve
The Springs Preserve is your ideal nature learning establishment that you cannot afford to miss. It is located at 333 S Valley View Blvd on the previous home of natural spring water. Here you learn about the cultural and environmental history of Nevada. It features botanic gardens, art exhibits, live animal shows, and a caf for refreshments. Even better, there is a lengthy nature trail to calm your mind about the city’s worries.
4. Lone Mountain Trail
Lone Mountain Trail is strategically located at 4445 North Jensen in the Northern part of Vegas. It features a two-hour walking nature trail with breathtaking views of Vegas. The trail comes to a stop at the top of the hill so that you can enjoy the scenic views of the valley below. For the best views ever, try it out during sundown; the city lights will blow your mind away.
5. Union Pacific Railroad Trail
Union Pacific Railroad Trail is another incredible nature trail just 15 minutes from Las Vegas in Henderson, Nevada 89015. This features an amazing trail of acacia demonstration gardens with trees, flowers, small animals, and spectacular Black Mountain views.
