There are elaborate fountain shows at Bellagio every 30 minutes, and they can be seen from across the street or by standing on the casino’s front porch. The fountains feature 1200 nozzles and 4500 lights. There is also a botanical garden, where you will discover over 7500 trees, plants and flowers displayed and the atrium is changed six to eight times a year.

This recreation center boasts seven water parks, ten skate parks, seven dog parks, 11 swimming pools, and more than 100 public parks that have picnic facilities, playgrounds, and fields.

3. Cannon Aviation Museum
Located at McCarran International Airport, the Cannon Aviation Museum is a large exhibit about the history of aviation in Las Vegas going back to the first flight in 1920 until the introduction of modern jets. Walking around the airport you can spot all kinds of cool displays featuring retro flight attendant and pilot uniforms. Very fun and nostalgic like a trip back in time.

4. The Aquarium at Silverton Hotel
The aquarium tank at Silverton is filled with more than 117,000 gallons of water. You’ll find thousands of beautiful and exotic tropical fish. Oh and did we mention there’s mermaids? Because there are LIVE mermaids swimming among the fish. It’s quite the sight! I find it to be one of the most peaceful and tranquil places to relax and have a drink, listen to the hum of the bubbles and take in that soft, blue glow of marine light that dances around the water.

5. Secret Garden & Dolphin Habitat at the Mirage
Two white Bengal tigers live in the habitat. There are beatifully manicured grounds with lush greenery and even a little river running through so the tigers can swim. These are magnificent and majestic animals and were once part of Siegfried and Roy’s magic act. Don’t forget the dolphins and other big cats too!

9. Hand of Faith at the Golden Nugget
This is the world’s largest single nugget of gold. Weighing in at about 60 pounds, this beauty was unearthed just a foot below the surface by Kevin Hillier and his trusty metal detector in Australia in 1980. It was purchased by the Golden Nugget in Las Vegas for a cool million dollars and has been on display in their lobby since 2015. In today’s market it’s worth is about five million!!
