#5 Dallas Cowboys not interested in Jeff Heath

It's no secret that veteran safety, Jeff Heath, put up less than stellar numbers last season, prompting the Las Vegas Raiders to cut him from the team and look towards younger talent. While that was bad news for Heath, who was probably hoping to stay with the Raiders, he then got the idea of going back to the Cowboys. Unfortunately for Heath, several insiders are claiming that the Cowboys are not interested in a reunion with the safety at this time, leaving him to continue to float in free agency.

“We know Jeff and Jeff’s done great things for us and he went to (Las Vegas) and had a great season,” Cowboys vice president of player personnel Will McClay said on 105.3's the Fan. “But we’re going to go through and look at what we have on the roster and we’re going to look at every opportunity to improve us if it makes sense.”
