The biggest question in the NASCAR world must be whether Kyle Busch will have a ride in 2023, and it's taken an interesting turn. Fortunately for those hoping the Las Vegas native keeps his ride over Ty Gibbs, it looks like Gibbs wants Busch in the car for as long as possible. In fact, he announced in an interview this week that he thinks he found a new sponsor for the #18 car in 2023. He also claimed that he was going to take his time moving grandson Ty Gibbs up into the Cup Series.
"We're really confident that we're going to have that (No. 18) car squared away, sponsorship-wise, and we're trying to work on our deal right now with Kyle," Gibbs said. "So, I think we feel good about it."
