Famous worldwide for its iconic pyramid shape, the Luxor is located near the southern end of Las Vegas Boulevard and boasts many attractive on-site amenities. With a range of things to see and do here, as well as many great restaurants, here’s your ultimate guide to staying at the Luxor.
What Room Should I Stay in at The Luxor?
Ensuring you choose the right room is essential for having the perfect stay! The Luxor is home to rooms and suites in both soaring towers. It also offers unique pyramid rooms with slanted windows.
We’ve broken it down into rooms, suites, and penthouses to make it easier for you to choose.
Rooms
Pyramid Rooms: Starting with the smallest, the Pyramid rooms are decorated with soothing blue tones, making them a great spot to escape to at the end of a long day of exploring. These rooms boast a king-sized bed, an open-air closet space, and a work desk. The slanted walls of the pyramid are one key feature that makes a stay in one of the Luxor pyramid rooms unique. There is also a two-queen-bed option available.
Pyramid Premier Rooms: Similar to the regular pyramid rooms, these Pyramid Premier rooms boast all of the same amenities. The difference is that this one offers a slightly more upscale experience, with a completely renovated bathroom and luxuriously modern updated furnishings.
Tower Premier Rooms: Much like the Pyramid Premier rooms, the Tower Premier Rooms boast updated, modern furnishings and an elevated decor experience. Unlike the rooms in the pyramid, these don’t have slanted walls, but they more than make up for this lack of novelty with their great amenities. Each Tower Premier room features a king-size bed or two queens, a 50” flat-screen TV, and a multi-purpose wardrobe/storage/workspace/media center!
Tower Elite Rooms: Boasting elegant, modern decor, the Tower Elite rooms have a comfortable king-size bed, sitting area, flat-screen TV, mini-fridge, coffee maker, wet bar, and a full desk. The decor is elegant, modern, and minimal, with ambient lighting and artwork similar to that found in the Tower Premium Rooms, which depicts the Mojave desert.
Suites

Pyramid Corner Suite: With the standard, calming decor found in the Pyramid Rooms, the Pyramid Corner Suite features all the same decor, amenities, and signature slanting walls but really offers a sense of royal living with a relaxing soaking tub with a view, an adjoining sitting room, and a little more space to unwind. The Pyramid Corner Suites are available with a king-size bed or two queen-size beds.
Pyramid Premier Corner Suite: With a similar design and style to the Pyramid Premier Rooms, the Pyramid Premier Corner Suite features the same amenities alongside a soaking tub and a separate living area.
Pyramid Elite Suite: Located on the top floors of The Luxor’s signature pyramid building, these stylish suites boast elegant decor and a spacious place to stay. With a large living room, dining room, and full wet bar, they’re arguably one of the best choices in the pyramid building.

Tower One-Bedroom Suite: The Tower One-Bedroom Suites take the modern decor of the standard Tower rooms and turn up the volume, switching out the sleek modern furnishings for slightly more luxurious, classical furniture, providing a timeless, upscale feel. These each feature a separate living area and bedroom, two flat-screen TVs, a separate shower and bath, a dual vanity, a mini-fridge, a coffee maker, a wet bar, and even a full desk area. These are available with either a king-size bed or two queen-size beds in the bedroom.
Tower Elite One-Bedroom Suite: Similar to The Tower One-Bedroom Suites, the Tower Elite One-Bedroom Suites boast even more luxurious decor, alongside a comfortable living room, separate dining area (complete with a mini-fridge, full wet bar, and a coffee maker), separate shower and bath, dual sinks and vanity space.
Tower Elite Two-Bedroom Suite: This spacious suite features all the amenities of the Tower Elite One-Bedroom Suite, plus an extra bedroom, making it an excellent choice for those looking for a family getaway or a luxurious stay with friends.
Penthouses

The Luxor has only two penthouses to choose from, both located in the Tower Buildings.
Tower One-Bedroom Penthouse: This 3000 sqft suite is optimum luxury, designed for relaxation and entertaining. It boasts two different living rooms, each with flat-screen TVs, as well as a king-sized bed in the bedroom, a separate dining area with a refrigerator, gourmet coffee maker, and a full wet bar.
Tower Two-Bedroom Penthouse: Another gorgeous penthouse specifically designed for entertaining is the Tower Two-Bedroom Penthouse. Very similar to the one-bedroom, this spacious living space boasts two living rooms, each with flat-screen TVs, a separate dining area with a refrigerator, gourmet coffee maker, and a full wet bar. The main difference with this penthouse is the second bedroom and the pool table!
