Palms Casino Resort Reviews: My Honest Stay in Vegas

Is Palms Casino Resort good or just okay?
Is staying off the Strip a mistake?
Will you be bored here?

I wondered the same thing before booking my stay. Lots of people online said they liked it, but I wasn’t sure. So, last month I stayed there myself. Here’s exactly what it was like—the good, the okay, and everything else.

My Room at Palms Casino Resort

I stunned myself when I initially entered my room. Better than what I had expected, it looked neat and tidy. The bed was quite cosy. From the window, there even had a cool view of the Strip.

Everything felt clean and fresh. The bathroom had lots of towels and a large bathtub.Honestly, I liked it cause it was not fancy like some Strip hotels. It was easy and cozy.

I read on Reddit that the rooms got updated a few years ago. That must be why it felt new.

Checking Out the Casino

Though small, the casino made it more convenient for enjoyment. It was not too busy or noisy; I did not have to search for games by walking endlessly.

There were slots, blackjack tables, and other games. The staff were friendly, and drinks came pretty fast. I liked that I could play without feeling rushed or crowded.

Eating at Palms Casino Resort

There were some nice food spots inside the hotel. Here’s where I had:

  • Mabel’s BBQ: I tried the brisket, andit tasted great. It was reasonably priced, and they provided lots of food. Great for a casual lunch or dinner.
  • Scotch 80 Prime: This steakhouse was fancy and a bit pricey, but the steak was really good. Nice if you want to celebrate something special.
  • Serrano Vista Cafe: Good breakfast spot. Their breakfast burritos were delicious and affordable.

Relaxing at the Pool

The pool area at Palms was relaxing and calm. It wasn’t loud or crowded. There were enough chairs for everyone, and the pool was clean. It felt good to just sit and chill for a bit.

I didn’t try the spa, but people online said it was nice. Maybe next time.

📍 Location: Too Far from the Strip?

Palms isn’t right on the Strip, but it didn’t bother me at all. It only took a few minutes by Uber or car to get there. Actually, I liked being away from the noise and crowds at night. It felt peaceful and quiet.

If you like walking to everything, you might not like it. But if you don’t mind short rides, it’s perfect.

Other People’s Reviews from Reddit

I checked Reddit before my stay, and here’s what people said:

  • “Rooms felt clean and fresh after the remodel.”
  • “It was nice being away from the crowded Strip.”
  • “Good value and not overpriced like other hotels.”

This matched what I experienced, too.

Should You Stay at Palms Casino Resort?

Yes, I think it’s worth it. The food was good; my room was decent; the gaming was entertaining. Though not fancy, it wasn’t necessary either. It was laid back and easy.

If you’re looking for a quieter, affordable stay that’s still close to all the Vegas action, Palms is a great choice. I’d definitely stay again.
