Where to Eat During Ramadan in Las Vegas (2023)

Congratulations on fulfilling your Islamic duty of fasting, prayer, and almsgiving during Ramadan (Mar 22, 2023 – Apr 20, 2023). But naturally, after fasting from dawn, you will be hungry and need a spot that provides you with an iftar to enjoy with family and friends. Vegas is littered with restaurants and eateries that you can flock to. Here are the five best:

1. Maza Mediterranean & Turkish Halal Grill

Salmon Kebab

Break your fast at Maza with the halal Iftar buffet available throughout the holy month. The Iftar buffet will be served from 6:45 pm at the beginning of Ramadan, but the time will shift towards 7:15 as the month draws to a close.

As part of the buffet, adults get soup, rice, salads, appetizers like hummus and tzatziki, main dishes of kebab, as well as dessert, tea, and fruit for $34.95. Additionally, you can order from their menu, which includes dishes like best kabobs, pide, manti, and kunefe.

2. Al Madina Halal Family Restaurant

A Chicken Dish

Get the very best Indian cuisine to break you fast at the Al Madina Halal Family restaurant. The halal options include wings, vegetable samosas, chicken tikka, and dosas. Vegetarians aren’t left behind on the Iftar, with delightful options such as aloo gobi, chole masala, halal noodles, and fried rice on the menu.

There is almost everything for everyone this Ramadan. Unfortunately, the restaurant doesn’t open on Mondays.

3. Lazeez Indian Mediterranean Grill

Lamb Shawarma

Lazeez has been offering a lunch buffet for as long as I can remember, but during Ramadhan, they will host a dinner buffet for Iftar. This means you can enjoy Mediterranean, Indian, and Pakistani delight that will fill your tummy after a long day’s fast.

There are vegan and vegetarian options even for appetizers and entrees. There is a buffet price of $22.99 for adults and $12.99 for children. If you opt for an à la carte or take-out option, they’re available.

4. The Halal Guys

the Halal Guys

Halal Guys was started in New York in the ’90s and serves the same street food. In Las Vegas, Halal Guys offers a variety of platters and sandwiches perfect for Ramadan. You can get chicken, beef gyro, or falafel platters served with rice, lettuce, and tomatoes, along with your choice of toppings and their famous white and hot sauce.

You can access the restaurant both on the Strip and in Chinatown.

5. Jerusalem Chef’s Table

at Jerusalem Chef’s Table

The restaurant that completes our top five Ramadan spots is the  Mediterranean restaurant Jerusalem Chef’s Table. It serves halal and kosher Israeli dishes with a modern touch.

While there is no Ramadan Iftar buffet, you can enjoy shawarma tacos, crispy schnitzel Milanese, falafel tabbouleh, and onion ring towers.
