Buffets used to be a staple of Las Vegas culture. Sadly, the all-you-can-eat food options are disappearing. You can’t walk into any casino and find a buffet now; you have to know where to go.
Here’s where to find the best buffets in Las Vegas.
#1. The Buffet at Wynn Las Vegas
Location: 3131 S Las Vegas Blvd
In my opinion, the Buffet at Wynn Las Vegas is one of the best in the city because you get to eat surrounded by an airy and bright space with gorgeous topiaries. This place offers a wide variety of traditional buffet choices with a fine-dining aesthetic experience that few buffets have. There are 120 different selections to choose from.
For instance, there are street tacos, a sushi bar, crab legs, prime rib, filet mignon, Guinness-braised short ribs, and even Frank Sinatra’s family spaghetti and meatballs.
Hours:
- 8 am – 1 pm, brunch ($59.99)
- 1 – 9 pm, seafood dinner ($74.99)
#2. MGM Grand Buffet at The MGM
Location: 3799 S Las Vegas Blvd
The MGM Grand Buffet at the MGM is an attractive option because it offers a traditional kind of buffet with a classic touch. It’s a brunch buffet with pancakes, eggs, sausages, bacon, and more typical options. Get here early because the buffet closes at 3 pm.
Prices are midrange, and kids under 5 eat for free.
Hours:
- 8 am – 3 pm
#3. Bacchanal Buffet At Caesars Palace
Location: 3570 S Las Vegas Blvd
Bacchanal Buffet at Caesars Palace is very sophisticated. You can unique dishes set amongst endless stretches of glass, wood, and steel décor.
The Bacchanal Buffet at Caesars Palace is actually ranked as the No. 1 buffet in Las Vegas because it’s so over-the-top and luxurious. If you’re only going to experience one buffet and you don’t mind splurging, this is the buffet to try.
Hours:
- 9 am – 10 pm (Thursday – Monday)
- 3:30 – 10 pm (Tuesday – Wednesday)
#4. Wicked Spoon at The Cosmopolitan
Location: 3708 S Las Vegas Blvd
The Wicked Spoon at the Cosmopolitan is in its own class. Everything is on small plates so you don’t have to dish yourself up.
The small-plate approach is actually great because it lets you eat to your heart’s content without feeling like you’re piling everything up. There are the usual carving, seafood, and dessert sections as well as areas devoted to world cuisine.
When you go for dessert, I recommend the strawberry balsamic gelato.
Hours:
- 8 am – 3 pm (Monday – Friday, $47)
- 9 am – 4 pm (Saturday – Sunday, $54)
