Trendiest Restaurants in Vegas’ Arts District

Do you admire street art, murals, and historic buildings? Have your next meal at any of the following trendy restaurants in Vegas’ Arts District:

1. Doña María Tamales Restaurant

Doña María Tamales Restaurant is a family-owned Mexican restaurant at the corner between Charleston and Las Vegas Boulevard.  The restaurant displays rich culinary traditions through its authentic Mexican cuisine amidst a backdrop of artistic flair.

Visitors enjoy housemade Mexican delicacies, including the namesake tamales. We recommend trying the Camarones a la Diabla, a tamale variety comprising Mexican prawns served with rice, beans, and your choice of tortillas. Book a weekday table from 4 to 6 pm, and enjoy discounted cocktails and appetizers during this happy hour.

2. Chicago Joe’s Restaurant

Are you craving classic Italian dishes? Stop by Chicago Joe’s Restaurant Tuesday to Saturday from 5 am to 9.30 pm and you can devour their pasta meat sauce and stuffed artichoke dressed in cream garlic or seasonal oil and vinegar.

The restaurant is in a former residential home and exudes a nostalgic ambiance.  It’s famous for its homemade meals.

3. Taverna Costera

at Tavern Costera

Taverna Costera is a two-story Greek restaurant at the north end of the Las Vegas Arts District overlooking First Friday. Here, guests sample coastal Mediterranean meals and sip signature cocktail drinks from an open-air rooftop bar as live performances roll on.

We suggest trying the Taverna Tapas Platter, which includes five pieces of lollipop wings with your choice of sauce. Complement this dinner starter with king oyster mushrooms or ahi poke nachos. Take advantage of the happy hour every day from 3 to 5 pm and then at 10 pm for discounted rates.

4. Berlin Las Vegas

at Berlin Las Vegas

Experience a taste of Berlin’s vibrant nightlife and eclectic culture at Berlin Las Vegas. The German-themed restaurant and party bar is open daily from 11 am until late.

Book a table or order your favorite German beer to wash down the wings, nacho hotdogs, burgers, and sausages. Alternatively, ask for the specialty cheesesteak or the pretzel board for $10. Occasionally, Berlin Las Vegas hosts free punk rock karaoke shows.
