Top 5 Dishes on the Strip (According to Me)

Sick of mediocre food on Las Vegas Blvd? Let me tell you my top 5 dishes on the Strip.

#1. Lasagna

Of all the lasagna you can eat in Vegas, my favorite is al forno. They call it Nonna’s lasagna at Buddy V’s Ristorante. It features layers of pasta with Italian sausage, ricotta, provolone, mozzarella, and Parmesan baked to perfection.

#2. Banana Cream Pie

Banana Cream Pie is the most requested dessert on the menu of Delmonico, a high-end Las Vegas steakhouse. Its master chef, Emeril Lagasse, puts a spin on the classic American dish with three pounds of bananas (11 whole fruits) and a nontraditional custard filling complemented by caramel sauce, chocolate shavings, and whipped cream.

#3. Chicken ‘N’ Watermelon ‘N’ Waffles

This meal gives you flavor that’s packed with the Southern soul. It contains honey hot sauce, chilled spiced watermelon, bourbon maple syrup, and Vermont sharp cheddar cheese waffles. You can find it at Yardbird Southern Table & Bar, which serves chicken dredged in a secret blend of spices and flour before deep-frying. The first time I had this meal, I licked my fingers.

#4. Cannoli

Carlo’s Bakery is home to some of the best cakes and pastries in Las Vegas. Its cannoli made it famous on TLC’s “Cake Boss.” Take one bite, and you’ll see why.

#5. Maine-Style Lobster Roll

Do you know why this is one of my favorite Vegas dishes? It’s an irresistible classic that comprises succulent pieces of lobster meat with celery, mayo, and chives in a soft roll that makes my mouth water. A generous serving of house-made coleslaw and chips makes it a perfect seafood snack for you, especially if you enjoy fresh fish that’s simply served.

You can find this dish perfectly prepared at Lobster Me and Joe’s Seafood, Prime Steak, & Stone Crab.
