1. Honey Salt

Honey Salt is your home away from home for sustainable dining. From breakfast to Happy Hour, the menu is loaded with seasonal choices, like the breakfast Green Goodness Juice, which is loaded with Kale, Apples, Fennel, Cucumber, Celery, Lemon, and Ginger. Drink your salad in a glass.
Honey Salt opened in 2012 and focuses on food from regional farmers, fishermen, and growers. It hosts Sustainable Farm Table Dinners, celebrating new themes each month.
2. Esther’s Kitchen

Esther’s Kitchen might be one of the town’s most talked-about Italian restaurants. Taste the flavor in essential dishes such as spaghetti pomodoro with sungold tomatoes, Basil, and organic pomodoro. Sample the Margherita Pizza made with Local Mozzarella, Bianco DiNapoli Tomatoes, and fresh Basil.
Esther’s is named after Chef Trees’ great-aunt Esther, a smart, no-nonsense, caring woman who inspires exceptional cooking.
3. Sparrow & Wolf

Sparrow & Wolf is a Chinatown restaurant known for sustainable cuisine and libations.
The menu is loaded with food likely to inspire repeat visits, like the Pate En Croute, Foie Gras, and octopus sukiyaki. Sparrow & Wolf also offers a popular four-course chef’s tasting menu for $135 per person. Add a wine pairing for $75 more.
4. Monzu

Monzu is a winner of the Slow Food Snail of Approval award, a coveted award given to dining destinations known for delivering “good, clean, and fair food and beverages.”
Chef Gio is master at this Westside restaurant, and his creative touch is evident in the menu. For example, the signature bread is made in-house daily and fermented over five days. The unique flavor profile is developed with a starter made from local apricots and a ‘mother starter’ from Ischia, which is said to be over 300 years old.
You can also sample snacks such as Fried Ascolane-style Olives stuffed with mixed meats and Soffritto. Try the Truffle Fries made with shoestring potatoes, Truffle Sauce, and Sottocenere Truffles for a special treat.
