Tropicana Cinemas is an older, hole-in-the-wall movie theater that offers discounted showings of newly released films and movies that are between the theaters and digital release. Enjoy the experience of a movie theater without spending a bunch of money. 

 

Tickets

The prices of these movie tickets are among the most affordable in Vegas. A matinee showing (before 6 pm) costs $5.50, general admission (after 6 pm) costs $8, and seniors (61 years and older) and children (ages 2 to 11) can purchase tickets at any time for $5.50. 

Movie tickets can be purchased online where you’ll be able to reserve your specific seats.

The theater also sells concessions like popcorn, candy, and soda. You can’t see a movie without snacks!

On the first Saturday of the month, Tropicana Cinemas holds a special showing of The Rocky Horror Picture Show (R). The next one will be on Saturday, September 3rd. This showing is a special event that involves audience participation. People dress up in costumes, and they give out prizes. Tickets cost $12, so it’s a way to see cheap movies in Las Vegas.
