Hotels and casinos on and off of the Strip offer discounted rates to locals and non-guests to use their pools for the day. This is always a great option during the summertime if you don’t have your own swimming pool but still want to be outside. If you’re a local, here are some discounts and deals you should take advantage of to stay cool this summer.
1. The Palms
The Palms’ pool offers free admission to Vegas locals! Monday through Thursday, with a valid Nevada ID locals, can enjoy the two main pools. If locals want to use the pool Friday through Sunday, it costs $15. Non-local, non-hotel guests can use the pool for $15 Monday through Thursday and $20 Friday through Sunday.
The hotel’s pool is open from 10 am to 7 pm daily.
2. Tropicana
Locals can also head down to the Strip to use The Tropicana’s pool for free! The hotel’s pool is open daily from 10 am to 6 pm. Non-local, non-hotel guests can also use the pool by paying $10 on weekdays and $20 on weekends.
3. GVR
Green Valley Ranch Hotel & Casino in Henderson offers the same rate to locals and non-hotel guests when using their pool. Monday through Friday, it costs $30 for adults and $20 for kids (ages 4 to 15); kids 3 years and under are free. On Saturday and Sunday, the rate jumps up to $40 for adults and $25 for kids.
If you go to this pool, get there right when they open and stay all day to make the most of it. The GVR pool is open daily from 9 am to 7 pm.
4. The M
The M Resort, also away from the Strip in Henderson, offers the same pool rates to locals and non-hotel guests. Currently, general admission Monday through Thursday is $15, and $25 Friday through Sunday. Kids $10 years old and under can enjoy the pool for $10.
Starting on Monday, August 8, the rates to use the pool will drop for the rest of the season. Admission will go down to $10 Monday through Thursday and $20 Friday through Sunday. The kids’ rate will remain the same.
The pool is open daily from 10 am to 6 pm.
5. Red Rock Resort
Also off of The Strip but on the north side of Vegas is Red Rock Resort. Locals and non-hotel guests can use this resort’s swimming pool for a fee. On weekdays, admission for adults costs $30 and $20 for kids. On weekends the price bumps up to $40 for adults and $25 for kids.
This pool is open from 9 am to 7 pm daily.
