What Do I Wear in Las Vegas? *Women’s Edition*

A Las Vegas trip is not like any other. Therefore, even your packing must be different. Think glitter eye makeup, hangover cures, and sleep masks. But what will you wear?

What you wear depends on what you do and where you’ll go in Sin City.

Here’s a wholesome guide.

Work Trip

Vegas is a convention hotspot, and you may find yourself coming here for work. But you still have to dress well and look gorgeous. You must wear business attire that conveys professionalism and confidence. You must stay flexible because you may go out of the conference and straight to the Strip with your coworkers.

Flats in your purse, a stylish cardigan, and a fitted blazer may show that you mean business.

Concerts

Vegas is the Entertainment Capital of the World, and there are a bunch of concerts that you may decide to attend. You should think about something that transitions well from the restaurant to the show and the club afterward. Wear your cocktail dress, a lovely top with bold pants, and a formal gown. You won’t go wrong with this.

Casinos

The casinos in Las Vegas are world-class. But you can basically dress how you want. Go Bond Girl with a slinky dress and heels. Keep comfortable with a hoodie and sweatpants. Wear your favorite Elvis costume. There are almost no rules- just remember to dress to impress if you want to catch someone’s eye. Competition is fierce.

Club

Perhaps it’s the Vegas clubbing that you came for. Clubbing is next-level in this city, and you need to dress well. Not just something that you wear on a typical Saturday night.

Think about neon colors, sequins, and flashy attire. Perhaps you want a sleek and sexy look. Go with a tight-fitting jumpsuit or a lacy LBD. Of course, don’t forget to wear your heels, but always pack your flats in your purse.

Restaurant

Many Vegas restaurants are famous. Think about Joe’s Stone Crab Las Vegas or Gordon Ramsay Steak. Vegas restaurants offer gourmet cuisine cooked by the best chefs in the world.

However, Vegas restaurants are less strict than New York or LA counterparts. Few restaurants have a strict code.

Walking the Vegas Strip

Walking the Vegas Strip is very fun. This is not just because the large hotels and the many entertainers are fascinating. But you can actually walk with a drink in your hand, as long as it’s in a plastic cup. Vegas is hot, so you wear something light during spring and summer. Perhaps a flowy skirt, shorts or a romper paired with a strappy crop or tank top.

Because you’ll be walking a lot, wear sandals, sneakers, or flats. These are more comfortable. And remember, you may become tipsy and trippy.

Pool Party

Go with cute swimwear and a cover-up. These are the essentials for a Vegas pool party. Don’t forget a sun hat and sunscreen.

If you’re just going to the pool and not a pool party, then make sure that you wear family-friendly swimwear. Wear a beautiful swimsuit and, of course, a cover-up.
