One of the most iconic resorts on the Strip just got a major glow-up. MGM Grand Hotel & Casino has completed a $300 million transformation of its main tower, unveiling nearly 4,000 redesigned rooms and suites that merge vintage disco glamour with modern Las Vegas luxury.

Designed by Gensler in collaboration with MGM Resorts Design & Development, the remodel reimagines 3,969 rooms and 753 suites with bright, airy spaces, sleek walnut finishes, and bold disco-era artwork.

The new MGM King and Two Queen rooms feature upgraded lighting, smart TVs, USB-C charging ports, and blackout drapes — a perfect mix of high-tech convenience and retro flair. Bathrooms now boast spa-style walk-in showers, elegant porcelain finishes, and illuminated closets that make even unpacking feel indulgent.

Every detail nods to MGM Grand’s entertainment legacy. Colorful patterns, LED art, and statement lighting echo the vibrance of the disco era while keeping things sophisticated. The new suite collection, expanded by 111 rooms, offers up to 1,784 square feet of open-concept space with elegant lounges, upgraded bathrooms, and redesigned layouts for both business and leisure travelers.
