Vegas Unstripped is back on the Strip on October 14, 2023. The food festival brings the best chefs from restaurants and bars around Vegas, and proceeds go to local charities.
How It All Started
The culinary night festival dates back to 2019 when James Trees, the owner of Esther’s Kitchen, organized a group of local chefs to prepare dishes and promote local culinary talents. The event was similar to the famous Vegas Uncork’d, a culinary and wine-tasting festival by celebrity chefs. However, Vegas Uncork’d held its last event in 2019.

The past two Vegas Unstripped events (held in 2019 and 2021) drew famous Vegas chefs like Oscar Amador of EDO Tapas, the 2018 Restaurant of the Year, and Saipin Chutima of Lotus of Siam, the Best Chef Southwest. Other notable chefs are Chris Decker, the Bronze Medalist at the International Pizza Expo 2017, Francesco Di Caudo, the 2017 Chef of the Year and Jackson Stamper of Ada’s Wine Bar, the Best New Wine Bar by Vegas Magazine.
So far, the 2023 Vegas Unstripped event has raised approximately $20,000. Even though the funds offset the event expenses, most of it goes to local charities like Project REAL, SAFE House NV, Las Vegas Alphas, Caridad, and Green Our Planet.
Main Street in the Arts District in Downtown Las Vegas shall remain closed to give way to the event.
How to Participate
Order early bird tickets and be amongst the first group to enter the festival that starts at 7 p.m. and ends at 10 p.m. The tickets retail at $150 per person, limited to four tickets per order. You must be at least 21 years old to participate as a chef or guest.
Also, guests can buy Vegas Unstripped merchandise. These are printed shirts in select sizes and propaganda posters printed from recycled materials.
What to Expect

The Vegas Unstripped ’23 food festival will attract at least 30 local chefs. Each chef shall prepare one or more dishes that are new and have not been prepared at their local restaurants and eateries before. And, by buying the $150 tickets, guests pay one price to sample food from all participating chefs.

This food festival is an omnivore party with plenty of plant-based dishes. Ultimately, the organizers want to encourage creativity and allow an unlimited menu, signature drinks, and live entertainment. The menu and full chef lineup shall be disclosed a few days before the event date.
