A friend recently told me that my city, Las Vegas, is an everchanging spectacle of shows, extreme nightlife, and flashy casinos.
I thought about it and realized that she was right. We have the best entertainers in the world, the most luxurious hotels, and the most unique restaurants you can find. And the best part is that we are constantly adding new world-class attractions.
So, what’s new in the City of Lights this year? There are so many new Las Vegas attractions coming up in 2023 that I can’t wait. I’ll give you six of them today.
#1. Museum of Illusions

The Museum of Illusions already has a presence in over 30 cities worldwide. The Museum of Illusions, Las Vegas, will actually be the largest of them all. It will be over 15,000 square feet. Whether young or old, you can experience perspective-changing rooms, immersive illusions, and art installations. Although it was supposed to be opened in November last year, it will now be open sometime in 2023.
#2. Planet 13 Cannabis Lounge
Planet 13 is definitely one of the best cannabis dispensaries in Las Vegas. It’s on the verge of creating a massive cannabis lounge where there won’t be any alcohol allowed, but you’ll get to be as high as you want.
The menu will include single-serve portions and infused cocktails and food. You’ll have the option of self-controlled consumption when applying the THC-infused condiment to food, maybe to a burger, for instance.
#3. Game of Thrones: Dragons
Information regarding the Game of Thrones: Dragons attraction is very scarce. It leaves us to speculate what the experience will actually be like. Hints suggest that it won’t be a theatrical show; rather, it will be an immersive experience. We have to wait and see.
#4. MSG Sphere

The MSG Sphere will be the largest spherical structure on Earth, with a capacity to hold over 17,000 people. The Las Vegas Strip entertainment venue will have a wraparound LED screen for a fully immersive experience. It will host both multi-sensory media events and live acts.
#5. Universal Immersive Horror Experience

Universal Parks and Resorts announced it will open a new attraction in Las Vegas in 2023. The Universal Immersive Horror Experience is an offshoot of its wildly popular Halloween Horror Nights, and it will be the company’s first permanent horror experience. It will be an expansion of the Area 15 entertainment complex – a 110,000-square-foot expansion.
#6. Atomic Golf

The STRAT is an icon in the Las Vegas skyline. It’s where you come and touch the sky at the tallest freestanding observation tower in the country. It includes a mini theme park with thrill rides, a resort-style pool, many restaurants, SkyPod, a casino, and a hotel.
The Atomic Gold Range is coming to this spot soon. It will be a 4-story digital golf arcade with drinks, food, and interactive golfing games.
