My Favorite Vegas Lunch Spots

Sin City has cool lunch spots serving themed cuisine, light bites, takeaways, and signature meals. Here are my five favorite Vegas lunch spots:

1. Karved Las Vegas

When in the mood for mouthwatering comfort food, I grab a loaded sandwich from Karved and pair it with their homemade sauces. Karved's Las Vegas restaurant serves modernized comfort foods like roasted chicken pita, French dip, onion rings, and seasoned fries with KARVED fry sauce. Their slow-roasted chicken is seasoned with savory spices and served with rice and their famous sauce sauce. For my sweet tooth, I opt for frozen Greek yogurt or KARVED donut bites.

2. Good Pie

Good Pie restaurant in Downtown Las Vegas is my go-to lunch spot for Detroit-styled grandma square pies and Brooklyn-styled round pies. The pies are topped with fresh mozzarella cheese, roasted mushrooms, red onions, green peppers, Italian sausage, meatballs, and pepperoni. I usually enjoy my pie with a side sauce, a cup of fresh garlic, a side dressing, or pour some chilli-infused hot honey from Brooklyn, NY.

3. Le Thai 2

Le Thai 2, located on Fremont Street, is an intimate 16-seater dining space that serves delicious Thai-inspired dishes. Think stir-fried spicy eggplant, crispy spring rolls, Thai pork jerky, and Thai oxtail beef and meatball noodle soup.

Besides, Le Thai 2 has a lunch special from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays. Here, I can order panang curry with steamed rice or any other meal on the menu for just $12. For as little as $2.5, I can upgrade my lunch special order to include Thai iced tea or Thai coffee.

4. Tacos El Gordo

Whenever I am on the Las Vegas Strip, I have to sample some sizzling Mexican tacos from the family-owned Tacos el Gordo. The chef prepares authentic Tijuana-styled tacos using Mexican culinary ingredients like top-grade meats on handmade corn tortillas with fresh toppings, guacamole, and salsas.

I recommend trying the Adobada, which consists of spiced pork on a corn tortilla sprinkled with fresh toppings.

5. PublicUs Las Vegas

PublicUs Las Vegas is a canteen-style cafe and specialty coffee shop on Fremont Street, southeast of Downtown Las Vegas. The restaurant features a relaxed dining area and an adjacent amber-lit kitchen with friendly staff.

I love their piri piri chicken sandwich. It comprises roasted chicken breast wrapped in fresh sourdough bread and sprinkled with tomato, lettuce, red onion, and peppers. The sandwich is made with organic mixed greens and house chips. Other lunch options at PublicUs Las Vegas include the PublicUs burger, bang bang chicken bento, and braised cauliflower for vegans.
