1. Gilcrease Orchard

Gilcrease Orchard is a local treasure known for the best fruit picking near Las Vegas. The farm is a short 12.5-mile drive from town, and you can snag all kinds of fruit, vegetables, and baked goods at this genuine family-run location. 

Gilcrease is open Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 7 am - 10 am. This is a historic location where you can enjoy harvesting your farm-fresh produce yourself. Customers rave about the flavor, quality, and taste of harvesting berries at their peak. 

Pick Apricots and Apriums for $2 a pound. Harvest Eva Pride Peaches and Tropic Sweet Peaches.

2. The Las Vegas Farm

The Las Vegas Farm offers exceptional seasonal produce like watermelons, pumpkins, zucchini, and peaches. In addition, if you’re seeking local, raw honey, make this your ‘go-to spot’ as bee hives are located right on the farm. 

The Las Vegas Farm invites visitors to come by and enjoy the farm. It's open every Saturday and Sunday from 9 am to 4 pm and is located at Vegas at 7222 W. Grand Teton Drive in northwest Vegas.

3. Research Center & Demonstration Orchard




Research Center & Demonstration Orchard belongs to the University of Nevada Cooperative. You can pick select fruits, fresh-grown vegetables, and seasonal specialties—straight from the farm.

The orchard also offers “Ask the Experts” events, where you can meet with master gardeners and get all your questions answered about growing vegetables, herbs, grapes, fruit trees, and edible gardens in the desert environment.

4. Cluck It Farm

Cluck It Farm offers locally grown organic fruits and vegetables with a CSA delivery service. This small family-run farm delivers boxes of fresh fruits, vegetables, and eggs from happy hens directly to you. $55 gets you ten vegetable/microgreen/farm stand items raised without chemicals or synthetic fertilizers. Throw in another $8 if you want fresh eggs, too.
