The Las Vegas Aces are back in the loss column following a 78-65 loss against the Seattle Storm that has many questioning their championship chances.  A’ja Wilson led the charge for the Aces with 29 points and 11 rebounds against the Storm. Kelsey Plum contributed 18 points, two assists, and one rebound in 40 minutes on the court.

Las Vegas and Seattle traded the lead several times until the fourth quarter, when the Aces collapsed and were outscored 24-14.

The loss brings the Aces to a 5 -3 record, their worst showing in the Becky Hammon era. "Our approach sucks," Hammon said after the blowout defeat. "I can't articulate enough how badly teams want to beat us."

#3 Athletics want to play some games outside of Las Vegas

Give an inch, and they’ll take several miles. That seems to be what's happening after it was revealed that the A's might want to play seven home games outside of Las Vegas. This comes while the city is hard at work helping the team build a new $1.5 billion stadium to compete in by 2028.

Team President Dave Kaval spoke with the Las Vegas Review-Journal and claimed these games will promote the brand and Las Vegas. He also asserts that some games will be played in another Las Vegas venue.

For comparison, most team contracts only allow three home games outside their main venue per season.

#2 Max Crosby discusses UFO encounter on his podcast (seriously)

The Las Vegas Raiders have a lot going on right now, and some of it involves aliens. Believe it or not, that's one of the discussions captivating Raider Nation right now after Max Crosby talked about a personal experience on his podcast.

“It’s real,” Crosby said. “Like we were literally on a flight back from Miami, and we’ve seen a UFO with our own eyes. And that sounds crazy, but you can ask the pilots, anybody that was there. It was wild. And I saw it, and they had no idea what it was. There was nothing on the radar, nothing. And it was like a big shining light going in and out.”.

#1 Joshua Jacobs reveals what happened between him and the Las Vegas Raiders

[caption id="attachment_55513" align="alignnone" width="1024"]Las Vegas Raiders, Joshua Jacobs, Las Vegas sports news, Source. Raiders[/caption]

Joshua Jacobs is opening up about his departure from the Las Vegas Raiders, and his statements are very interesting. He claims he was just an afterthought because the Raiders are investing in Zamir White as their long-term answer at a lighter price. The decision might have come down to Jacobs' season-ending injury in November. His fight for more money didn't help things, either.

The former Las Vegas Raider had this to say about the contract negotiations.

“I never talked to the GM or none of that. It just was what it was. At the end of the day, I told them, ‘Look, I’ve got every Raider record since I’ve been here, basically.’... And I’m like, ‘If y’all don’t have enough respect in me to sit me down and have a conversation, then we don’t have anything to talk about.’ It’s that simple, really.”
