The Las Vegas Golden Knights defeated the Minnesota Wild 2-1 to move up to third in the Pacific division. They were previously relying on making a wild card spot but have improved in the seeding. Michael Amadio and Jonathon Marchessault scored goals for Las Vegas, including one in overtime.
Marchessault sent a shot flying into an open net late into overtime to win the game for the Golden Knights that evening. That marked their 41st win of the season, making them 7-2-1 in their last ten games. Logan Thompson tended the net, only allowing one of 33 shots to get past him.
This victory is a major one for the struggling Golden Knights and is reigniting hopes for the playoffs.

Tom Brady is still trying to become a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders, but he's running into delays. The latest snag in the ownership saga comes after the 32 NFL owners decided not to vote on Brady’s proposed stake at the annual meeting. This essentially kicks the can down the road and leaves the purchase in the air.
There hasn’t been a reason given for the delayed vote, and it could be due to several factors. One of these is Brady’s upcoming television broadcast deal with Fox, which could create a conflict of interest. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell had the following to say.
“I wouldn’t say it’s a delay,” Goodell said via ESPN's Jeremy Fowler. “We go through a very thorough process . . . We’re just going through our process. We’ve been in touch with their side. I think it’s been making progress.”

The Las Vegas Raiders are still looking for a long-term quarterback and might find one in the 2024 NFL draft. While the Raiders already have Aidan O’Connell and Gardner Minshew under center, they could look to the draft for another great prospect—someone who can take the team where the other two quarterbacks can’t in the long term.
According to Vinny Bonsignore of the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the Raiders are set to meet privately with Jayden Daniels during his pro day next week. This comes after rumors of Las Vegas looking to trade up in the draft this year to secure a quarterback. The move will leave the Raiders with more options in the future but could ruffle feathers.
