The Las Vegas Raiderettes Get New Practice Facility

The Raiderettes have signed a lease for a new training facility and it's going to be awesome!

Change is in the air for The Raiders organization.

The Raiderette's, The Las Vegas Raiders' official cheerleader squad, now have a new Las Vegas training facility!

According to Kntv.com," Neighboring the Raiders Headquarters and practice facility, the Raiderettes will occupy 15,000 square feet at Matter Park @ West Henderson, a newly constructed industrial complex near St. Rose Parkway and Raiders Way developed by Matter Real Estate Group."

The review journal describes the facility as only a "Derek Carr hail mary pass from where The Raiders will be playing football in the 2020 season" and will give the squad a place of their own to prepare for game day.  Unfortunately, the facility is under construction and will take some time to build.

This news comes after the announcement that The Raiderette's would be holding virtual tryouts this year to see who would join the prestigious cheer squad. The organization stated on twitter that the preliminary and semifinal rounds of the tryouts will be virtual, but those who continue to the next round will need to show up for practice in Henderson. They will also need to be available for every home game and travel with the team.

"The Raiders coming to Las Vegas is one of the most exciting things to happen in the city in years," Matter Real estate Vice President, Mike Van Betton said. "We are thrilled to be a part of this historic chapter by welcoming the silver and black of the Raiderettes to their new home at Matter Park at West Henderson."

As a part of The Raiderettes' latest move, the squad has been nicknamed Football's Fabulous Females.
