The current exhibit on display is The Mojave Project by Kim Stringfellow. Another exhibit, Spirit of the Land, will open on March 25.

The Mojave Project features the stories of people living in the Mojave Desert through several mediums. All of these elements come together to tell and show the diverse community that lives in the desert.

This exhibit will be available for viewing until July 23.

Spirit of the Land is a collaborative project produced by more than 40 artists and musicians. This display focuses on Spirit Mountain in Southern Nevada and its surrounding land. Paintings, photos, sculptures, videos, and other art forms capture the importance of this region in the Mojave Desert. This is also an effort to raise awareness for the land and push to protect it.

This show will debut on Friday, March 25, and continue until July 23.

The Marjorie Barrick Museum of Art is located on the campus of UNLV across from the Lied Library inside of the Harry Reid Center. The gallery is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm.
