Lola’s Burgers was conceptualized by restaurateur and Proper Eats partner Oliver Wharton as a tribute to his father, Michael, who popularized the gourmet burger in New York City in the ‘70s and ‘80s, and his daughter, Lola, who helped develop the recipe-based on her grandfather’s crave-worthy creations.
