The Las Vegas Golden Knights defeated the Columbus Blue Jackets Saturday night to keep their playoff hopes alive. It almost didn’t work out that way, however, after the Blue Jackets scored in the opening period. The Golden Knights responded with two goals of their own in the second period to gain a slight lead.
Las Vegas then knocked in two more shots in the final period to take the 4-2 victory. Jack Eichel led the charge with two goals and eight shots on goal that evening. Ivan Barbashev and Pavel Dorofeyev both scored goals as well for Las Vegas. This amazing display of offense even allowed Las Vegas to pad their points in the standings.
Adin Hill and Logam Thompson split net time in what has to be their best performance heading into the 2024 playoffs. Hill stopped 12 of 13 shots for a .923 save percentage, while Thompson allowed one goal in eight shots sent his way.

Tom Brady is trying to buy a minority stake in the Las Vegas Raiders and the process has hit yet another snag. The delay is due to the annual NFL owners' meeting not having Brady's potential ownership on the agenda. That pushes the eventual vote back a while and leaves Brady’s ownership stake in limbo.
Two other things could also spell the end of Brady's $175 million deal. One is the price of sale, which many believe to be undervalued given the team's financial status. Another problem is Brady’s upcoming broadcasting contract.
"NFL team owners are unlikely to take a vote at next week’s annual league meeting to approve Tom Brady’s bid to become a part owner of the Las Vegas Raiders... " a report states. " ... some owners have concerns about conflicts of interest arising from Brady holding an ownership stake in the Raiders while serving as an analyst on broadcasts of NFL games for Fox..."

Noah Gragson isn’t the same man who drove for Legacy Motor Sports last season. The Las Vegas native recently revealed that his work/life balance wasn’t working for him back in 2023, which amplified personal issues. Add in liking a racially insensitive tweet on X and Gragson’s career looked over after just half a season.
He was suspended for his actions on social media and required to go to diversity training before being reinstated. Gragson's season was complete at this point, however, as he didn’t have a ride anymore after asking for his release from Legacy Motorsports. Forward to 2024, and Gragson is having fun again.
“We’re working really, really hard,” Gragson said in an interview about his move to a new racing team in 2024. “It’s just been a great time and I’m really enjoying myself. I’m enjoying everything about racing again that maybe I may have lacked a little bit last year.”

Jonathan Marchessault #81 | Highlights |[/caption]
A lot of things have been going wrong for the Las Vegas Golden Knights and even a decent playoff position seems unlikely. One piece of good news for Las Vegas is a recent story that the organization has been talking with Jonathon Marchessault about a new contract.
This news comes as Marchessault is in the final season of his six-year, $30 million contract with the Golden Knights. He's making a good case for himself to stay with 38 goals, 22 assists, and seven power-play goals.
According to an interview with sports agent Pat Brisson: "He’s OK waiting... Of course, you would rather have a deal done. Sometimes the reason you don’t have a deal done is because you’re not there yet. He’s been in Vegas ever since its inception seven years ago. He likes it there, has been producing, won the Cup last year, won the Conn Smythe."
#1 The Las Vegas Raider's search for a Quarterback continues

There are many teams looking for a quarterback this offseason, but options are slim. For example, Kirt Cousins already found a home with the Falcons, and Russell Wilson is now a Pittsburgh Steeler. The Rams have also taken Matthew Stafford, which leaves little experience in the free agency pool.
The Las Vegas Raiders did sign Gardner Minshew last week to compete with Aidan O’Connell, but there’s no clear favorite. There is also a rumor f that Las Vegas might want to trade up in the draft for a quarterback. That would makes it a three-man dance for the starting spot. Tashawn Reed of the Athletic had this to say about the ongoing QB situation.
"They'll explore trading up in the first round, according to league sources, but there's a chance that an intriguing option could still be available at pick No. 13 or even at pick No. 44 in the second round. So, while bringing [Gardner] Minshew onboard provides the Raiders a safety net, it won't stop them from trying land a highly-touted prospect in the draft."
