It’s popular for its great nightlife, gambling, fine dining, and culture. It’s also known for great shopping places and amazing entertainment, hence the Entertainment Capital of the World. Even the expression, “What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas,” oozes fun.
Many people visit the casinos. Fremont, one of the most popular places in the city, hosts several older casinos and captures the essence of Las Vegas and its past while the famous Strip is about glitz and glamour. There are also many museums where you can take your kids, such as the Mob Museum, Discovery Children’s Museum, and many others.

When There Is the Best Weather
The climate of Las Vegas is high desert with hot, dry summers and cool winters. According to the average monthly temperatures, the best months to visit are in the spring and fall when it’s not too cold or hot.
Remember that the hottest month is July, with an average daily maximum of 105 degrees Fahrenheit. The coolest month is December, with a daily high of 59 degrees Fahrenheit.
The wettest month is January. It receives an average of 8 millimeters of rain.
When It Is Cheapest
The cheapest time to visit Vegas is during the off-season, which is from mid-November until the end of February.
During this period, many casinos have specials on their rooms. With a bit of planning, you can save hundreds of dollars for several nights.
When It Is Least Crowded
Sin City is usually crowded during spring and summer months, and on holidays like New Year’s Eve.
It is least crowded during winter. However, you will never find Las Vegas a ghost town. There are always festivals and carnivals, and all sorts of things happening in the city.
Worst Time To Visit
There is no worst time to visit Vegas. Depending on what you want to experience and your schedule, you can visit anytime!
