2024 is going to be lit in Las Vegas. There are so many events and parties to look forward to. For instance, Formula One returns.
And let’s not forget Super Bowl LVIII, which will occur at Allegiant Stadium in February.
2024 is definitely going to be better than 2023, and you need to make plans to come to Sin City and enjoy.
This list details things to look forward to in Las Vegas in 2024. Read on.
#1. New Residencies
In 2023, several residencies wrapped up, like those of Katy Perry and Usher. But of course, there are new names we look forward to, like New Edition at Wynn Las Vegas and Phish at the Sphere. There’s also Wu–Tang Clan: The Saga Continues: The Las Vegas Residency and Shania Twain: Come On Over – The Las Vegas Residency, among others.
#2. Bruce Springsteen Concert
Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band are scheduled to perform in Las Vegas at the T-Mobile Arena on March 22. This is actually their first local show since the Thomas & Mack one on August 18, 2002. So, it’ll be memorable.
#3. The Rolling Stones Concert
Yes, the Rolling Stones are scheduled to perform at the Allegiant Stadium on May 11, 2024. Mick and Keith are now 80, and Ronnie Wood is 76, but their love for music has not aged. They released their original studio album, “Hackney Diamonds,” the first since 2005, on October 23, 2023. Come and watch them.
#4. The Opening of H Mart
The H Mart president, Brian Kwon, announced that the Korean grocery sensation will open its first Nevada location at Sahara Avenue and Decatur Boulevard. It will be a 54,552–square–foot store with a food court. If you’re a foodie, then you’ll definitely love this.
#5. Famous Chain Restaurants
Still, on food, several famous chain restaurants are scheduled to open branches in Las Vegas. For example, Norms will open one at West Charleston Boulevard, Bojangles will open 20 restaurants in Las Vegas, and Whataburger will open a restaurant at Waldorf Astoria.
#6. World- Renowned Chefs
World-renowned chefs will be in Vegas in 2024. Pinky by Lisa Vanderpump will be at Flamingo Las Vegas, Gordon Ramsay will also be at the same venue, and Michael Mina’s Orla will be at Mandalay Bay. Wolfgang Puck’s Carama will also be at Mandalay Bay.
#7. A New Mayor
After 25 years of running Las Vegas, the Goodman era at the helm of Sin City is finally ending. Mayoral elections will take place on June 11.
#8. Primaries
Still, on politics, Las Vegas is scheduled to hold its first primary elections in decades on February 6. Both Democrats and Republicans will be on the ballot.
#9. Las Vegas Grand Prix
The Las Vegas Grand Prix will return in November, and it’s one of the most exciting things to look forward to this year. The pain points from 2023 will be smoothed out.
#10. The Super Bowl
Saved the best for last. Super Bowl LVIII is scheduled for February in Las Vegas, and it’s something that I can’t talk about enough. It will be the city’s first time hosting the big game!
