Las Vegas is all about fun and food. And for those who want to maintain their fitness and save money, there's bike-sharing.
The Bike Sharing program was launched by the Regional Transportation Commission, and it offers a convenient way to get around the Downtown area. Not only does it keep you fit, but it saves you from paying exorbitant parking fees.
There are 21 bike-sharing stations spread across Downtown Vegas, with about 200 bikes. The program costs $5 for a 24-hour pass, or if you plan to stay in the city for a few days, you can pick up a 3-day pass for $10.
Unfortunately, the bike-sharing program is very popular, and sometimes there are no bikes available.
Las Vegas can get hot, so if you're planning on renting a bike in the summer, do it first thing in the morning or late evening. And remember to drink water!
